Leviticus 17:13-14

13And every oneH376 of the children of IsraelH3478, and of the strangers who sojourn among them, that catcheth in the huntH6679 a beast or fowl that may be eatenH398, he shall pourH8210 out the bloodH1818 thereof, and coverH3680 it with earthH6083;

14for as to the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320, its bloodH1818 is the lifeH5315 in it; and I have saidH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, Of the bloodH1818 of no manner of fleshH1320 shall ye eatH398, for the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320 is its bloodH1818: whoever eateth it shall be cutH3772 off.
