John 3:25-30
There was thereforeG3767 a reasoning of the disciplesG3101 of JohnG2491 with a JewG2453 about purificationG2512.
And they cameG2064 to JohnG2491 and saidG3004 to him, RabbiG4461, he who wasG1510 with thee beyond the JordanG2446, to whom thou barest witnessG3140, beholdG2396, he baptises, and all comeG2064 to him.
JohnG2491 answeredG611 and saidG3004, A manG444 can receiveG2983 nothing unless it beG1510 givenG1325 him out of heavenG3772.
Ye yourselves bearG3140 me witnessG3140 that I saidG3004, I amG1510 not the ChristG5547, but, that I amG1510 sentG649 before him.
He that has the brideG3565 isG1510 the bridegroomG3566; but the friendG5384 of the bridegroomG3566, who standsG2476 and hearsG191 him, rejoicesG5463 in heart because of the voiceG5456 of the bridegroomG3566: this my joyG5479 then isG1510 fulfilled.
