Darby Bible
John 16:1-7
1These thingsG3778 I have spokenG2980 unto you that ye may not be offendedG4624.
2They shall putG615 you out of the synagogues; but the hourG5610 is comingG2064 that every oneG3588 who killsG615 you will thinkG1380 to render serviceG2999 to 1GodG2316;
3and these thingsG3778 they will do because they have not knownG1097 the FatherG3962 nor me.
4But I have spokenG2980 these thingsG3778 to you, that whenG3752 their hourG5610 shall have comeG2064, ye may rememberG3421 them, that I have saidG3004 [them] unto you. But I did not sayG3004 these thingsG3778 unto you from [the] beginning, because I wasG1510 with you.
5But nowG1161 I goG5217 to him that has sentG3992 me, and noneG3762 of you demands of me, WhereG4226 goest thou?
6But because I have spokenG2980 these thingsG3778 to you, sorrowG3077 has filledG4137 your heartG2588.
7But I sayG3004 the truthG225 to you, It is profitableG4851 for you that I goG4198 awayG565; for if I do not goG4198 awayG565, the Comforter will not comeG2064 to you; but if I goG4198 I will sendG3992 him to you.
