Darby Bible
Samuel 2:30-34
Wherefore Jehovah the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478 saith, I saidH559 indeed, Thy houseH1004 and the houseH1004 of thy fatherH1 should walkH1980 before me for everH5769. But nowH6258 Jehovah saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despiseH959 me shall be lightly esteemed.
Behold, daysH3117 comeH935, that I will cutH1438 off thine armH2220, and the armH2220 of thy father's houseH1004, that there shall not beH1961 an oldH2205 manH2205 in thy houseH1004.
And thou shalt see an oppressor [in my] habitationH4583, amidst all the goodH3190 that shall beH1961 done to IsraelH3478; and there shall not beH1961 an oldH2205 manH2205 in thy houseH1004 for ever.
And the manH376 of thine [whom] I shall not cutH3772 off from mine altarH4196, shall be to cause thine eyesH5869 to failH3615 and to grieve thy soulH5315; and all the increase of thy houseH1004 shall dieH4191 in their vigour.
And this shall be the signH226 to thee, which shall comeH935 upon thy twoH8147 sonsH1121, upon HophniH2652 and PhinehasH6372: in oneH259 dayH3117 they shall dieH4191, both of them.
