Darby Bible
Samuel 2:2-8
There is none holyH6918 as Jehovah, for there is none beside thee, neither is there any rockH6697 like our 1GodH430.
Do not multiplyH7235 your words of pride, let not vain-glory comeH3318 out of your mouthH6310; For Jehovah is a 2GodH410 of knowledgeH1844, and by him actions are weighedH8505.
The bowH7198 of the mightyH1368 is broken, and they that stumbledH3782 are girdedH247 with strengthH2428.
They that were full have hiredH7936 themselves out for breadH3899; and the hungryH7457 are [so] no more: Even the barrenH6135 beareth sevenH7651, and she that hath manyH7227 children is waxed feeble.
Jehovah killeth, and maketh aliveH2421; he bringeth downH3381 to SheolH7585, and bringeth up.
Jehovah maketh poor, and maketh richH6238, he bringeth lowH8213, alsoH637 he lifteth up:
He raiseth up the poor out of the dustH6083; from the dung-hill he lifteth up the needyH34, To setH6965 [him] among noblesH5081; and he maketh them inheritH5157 a throneH3678 of gloryH3519; For the pillars of the earthH776 are Jehovah's, and he hath setH6965 the worldH8398 upon them.
