Jeremiah 34:13-16
13ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478: I madeH3772 a covenantH1285 with your fathersH1 in the dayH3117 that I broughtH3318 them forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, out of the houseH1004 of bondage, sayingH559, 14At the endH7093 of sevenH7651 yearsH8141 ye shall let goH7971 every manH376 his brotherH251 that is a HebrewH5680, that hath been soldH4376 unto thee, and hath servedH5647 thee sixH8337 yearsH8141, thou shalt let him goH7971 freeH2670 from thee: but your fathersH1 hearkened not unto me, neither inclinedH5186 their earH241. 15And ye were now turnedH7725, and had done that which is rightH3477 in mine eyesH5869, in proclaimingH7121 libertyH1865 every manH376 to his neighborH7453; and ye had madeH6213 a covenantH1285 before me in the houseH1004 which is calledH7121 by my nameH8034: 16but ye turnedH7725 and profanedH2490 my nameH8034, and caused every manH376 his servantH5650, and every manH376 his handmaid, whom ye had let goH7971 freeH2670 at their pleasure, to returnH7725; and ye broughtH7725 them into subjection, to beH1961 unto you for servantsH5650 and for handmaids.
