Jeremiah 29:1-7

Now these are the wordsH1697 of the letterH5612 that JeremiahH3414 the prophetH5030 sentH7971 from JerusalemH3389 unto the residue of the eldersH2205 of the captivity, and to the priestsH3548, and to the prophetsH5030, and to all the peopleH5971, whom NebuchadnezzarH5019 had carried awayH7971 captive from JerusalemH3389 to BabylonH894,

(after that JeconiahH3204 the kingH4428, and the queen-mother, and the eunuchsH5631, and the princesH8269 of JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389, and the craftsmenH2796, and the smithsH4525, were departed from JerusalemH3389),

by the handH3027 of Elasah the sonH1121 of ShaphanH8227, and GemariahH1587 the sonH1121 of HilkiahH2518, (whom ZedekiahH6667 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 sentH7971 unto BabylonH894 to NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894), sayingH559,

ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, unto all the captivity, whom I have caused to be carried away captive from JerusalemH3389 unto BabylonH894:

BuildH1129 ye housesH1004, and dwellH3427 in them; and plantH5193 gardensH1593, and eatH398 the fruitH6529 of them.

TakeH3947 ye wivesH802, and beget sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323; and takeH3947 wivesH802 for your sonsH1121, and giveH5414 your daughtersH1323 to husbandsH376, that they may bearH3205 sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323: and multiplyH7235 ye there, and be not diminishedH4591.

And seekH1875 the peaceH7965 of the cityH5892 whither I have caused you to beH1961 carried away captive, and prayH6419 unto Jehovah for it; for in the peaceH7965 thereof shall ye have peaceH7965.
