Jeremiah 10:21-25
21For the shepherdsH7462 are become brutish, and have not inquired of Jehovah: thereforeH3651 they have not prospered, and all their flocks are scatteredH6327. 22The voiceH6963 of tidings, behold, it cometh, and a greatH1419 commotion out of the northH6828 country, to makeH7760 the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 a desolationH8077, a dwelling-place of jackalsH8577.
23O Jehovah, I knowH3045 that the wayH1870 of manH376 is not in himself; it is not in manH376 that walketh to directH3559 his stepsH6806. 24O Jehovah, correct me, but in measure; not in thine angerH639, lestH6435 thou bring me to nothing. 25PourH8210 out thy wrathH2534 upon the nationsH1471 that knowH3045 thee not, and upon the familiesH4940 that callH7121 not on thy nameH8034; for they have devouredH398 JacobH3290, yea, they have devouredH398 him and consumedH398 him, and have laid waste his habitation.
