Genesis 13:8-13
8And AbramH87 saidH559 unto LotH3876, Let there beH1961 no strifeH4808, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdsmen and thy herdsmen; for we are brethren. 9Is not the whole landH776 before thee? separateH6504 thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left handH3225, then I will goH8041 to the rightH3225; or if thou take the rightH3225 handH3225, then I will goH8041 to the left. 10And LotH3876 liftedH5375 up his eyesH5869, and beheld all the Plain of the JordanH3383, that it was well watered every where, before Jehovah destroyedH7843 SodomH5467 and GomorrahH6017, like the gardenH1588 of Jehovah, like the landH776 of EgyptH4714, as thou goest unto ZoarH6820. 11So LotH3876 choseH977 him all the Plain of the JordanH3383; and LotH3876 journeyed eastH6924: and they separatedH6504 themselves the oneH376 from the other. 12AbramH87 dweltH3427 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667, and LotH3876 dweltH3427 in the citiesH5892 of the Plain, and moved his tentH167 as far as SodomH5467. 13Now the menH376 of SodomH5467 were wickedH7451 and sinnersH2400 against Jehovah exceedinglyH3966.
