Genesis 13:8-13
8So AbramH87 saidH559 toH413 LotH3876, “PleaseH4994 let there beH1961 noH408 contentionH4808 between you and meH996, or betweenH996 your herdsmenH7462H996 and my herdsmenH7462. After allH3588H582, weH587 are kinsmenH251. 9Is notH3808 the wholeH3605 landH776 before youH6440? NowH4994 separate yourselfH6504 from meH5921. IfH518 you go to the leftH8040, I will go to the rightH3231; ifH518 you go to the rightH3225, I will go to the leftH8041.”
10And LotH3876 looked outH5375H5869 and sawH7200 that the wholeH3605 plainH3603 of the JordanH3383H3588, all the wayH935 to ZoarH6820, was well wateredH4945 like the gardenH1588 of the LORDH3068, like the landH776 of EgyptH4714. (This was beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 destroyedH7843 SodomH5467 and GomorrahH6017.) 11So LotH3876 choseH977 the wholeH3605 plainH3603 of the JordanH3383 for himself and set outH5265 toward the eastH6924. And Abram and Lot partedH6504 companyH5921H376H251.
12AbramH87 livedH3427 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667, but LotH3876 settledH3427 in the citiesH5892 of the plainH3603 and pitched his tentH167 towardH5704 SodomH5467. 13But the menH582 of SodomH5467 were wickedH7451, sinningH2400 greatlyH3966 against the LORDH3068.
