Genesis 6
1And it came to pass, when menH120 beganH2490 to multiply on the faceH6440 of the groundH127, and daughtersH1323 wereH1961 bornH3205 unto them, 2that the sonsH1121 of GodH430 sawH7200 the daughtersH1323 of menH120 that they were fair; and they tookH3947 them wivesH802 of all that they choseH977. 3And Jehovah saidH559, My SpiritH7307 shall not strive with manH120 for everH5769, for that he alsoH1571 is fleshH1320: yet shall his daysH3117 beH1961 a hundredH3967 and twentyH6242 yearsH8141. 4The NephilimH5303 were in the earthH776 in those daysH3117, and alsoH1571 after that, when the sonsH1121 of GodH430 cameH935 in unto the daughtersH1323 of menH376, and they bare children to them: the same were the mightyH1368 menH376 that were of old, the menH376 of renown.
5And Jehovah sawH7200 that the wickednessH7451 of manH120 was greatH7227 in the earthH776, and that every imagination of the thoughtsH4284 of his heartH3820 was onlyH7535 evilH7451 continually. 6And it repentedH5162 Jehovah that he had madeH6213 manH120 on the earthH776, and it grieved him at his heartH3820. 7And Jehovah saidH559, I will destroy manH120 whom I have createdH1254 from the faceH6440 of the groundH127; both manH120, and beast, and creepingH7431 thingsH7431, and birdsH5775 of the heavensH8064; for it repenteth me that I have madeH6213 them. 8But NoahH5146 foundH4672 favorH2580 in the eyesH5869 of Jehovah.
9These are the generationsH1755 of NoahH5146. NoahH5146 wasH1961 a righteousH6662 manH376, andperfectH8549 in his generationsH1755: NoahH5146 walkedH1980 with GodH430. 10And NoahH5146 begat threeH7969 sonsH1121, ShemH8035, HamH2526, and JaphethH3315. 11And the earthH776 was corruptH7843 before GodH430, and the earthH776 was filledH4390 with violenceH2555. 12And GodH430 sawH7200 the earthH776, and, behold, it was corruptH7843; for all fleshH1320 had corruptedH7843 their wayH1870 upon the earthH776.
13And GodH430 saidH559 unto NoahH5146, The endH7093 of all fleshH1320 is comeH935 before me; for the earthH776 is filledH4390 with violenceH2555 through them; and, behold, I will destroyH7843 them with the earthH776. 14MakeH6213 thee an arkH8392 of gopher woodH6086; rooms shalt thou makeH6213 in the arkH8392, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. 15And this is how thou shalt makeH6213 it: the lengthH753 of the arkH8392 threeH7969 hundredH3967 cubitsH520, the breadthH7341 of it fiftyH2572 cubitsH520, and the heightH6967 of it thirtyH7970 cubitsH520. 16A light shalt thou makeH7760 to the arkH8392, and to a cubitH520 shalt thou finishH3615 it upwardH4605; and the doorH6607 of the arkH8392 shalt thou setH7760 in the sideH6654 thereof; with lower, secondH8145, and thirdH7992 stories shalt thou makeH7760 it. 17And I, behold, I do bringH935 the floodH3999 of watersH4325 upon the earthH776, to destroyH7843 all fleshH1320, wherein is the breathH7307 of lifeH2416, from under heavenH8064; everythingH3605 that is in the earthH776 shall dieH1478. 18But I will establishH6965 my covenantH1285 with thee; and thou shalt comeH935 into the arkH8392, thou, and thy sonsH1121, and thy wifeH802, and thy sons’H1121 wivesH802 with thee. 19And of every living thing of all fleshH1320, twoH8147 of every sort shalt thou bringH935 into the arkH8392, to keep them aliveH2416 with thee; they shall beH1961 maleH2145 and femaleH5347. 20Of the birdsH5775 after their kindH4327, and of the cattleH929 after their kindH4327, of every creepingH7431 thingH7431 of the groundH127 after its kindH4327, twoH8147 of every sort shall comeH935 unto thee, to keep them aliveH2421. 21And takeH3947 thou unto thee of all foodH3978 that is eatenH398, and gatherH622 it to thee; and it shall beH1961 for foodH3978 for thee, and for them. 22ThusH3651 did NoahH5146; according to all that GodH430 commandedH6680 him, soH3651 did he.
