Ephesians 5

1Be ye thereforeG3767 imitatorsG3402 of GodG2316, as belovedG27 childrenG5043; 2and walkG4043 in loveG26, evenG2532 as ChristG5547 alsoG2532 lovedG25 you, and gave himself up for us, an offeringG4376 and a sacrificeG2378 to GodG2316 for an odor of a sweet smell.

3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousnessG4124, let it not evenG2532 be named among you, as becometh saintsG40; 4nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but ratherG3123 giving of thanks. 5For this ye knowG1097 of a surety, that no fornicator, nor uncleanG169 person, nor covetousG4123 manG3778, who isG1510 an idolaterG1496, hath any inheritanceG2817 in the kingdomG932 of ChristG5547 and GodG2316. 6Let no manG3778 deceive you with emptyG2756 wordsG3056: for because of these thingsG3778 cometh the wrathG3709 of GodG2316 upon the sonsG5207 of disobedienceG543. 7Be not ye thereforeG3767 partakers with them; 8for ye wereG1510 onceG4218 darknessG4655, but areG1510 nowG1161 lightG5457 in the LordG2962: walkG4043 as childrenG5043 of lightG5457 9(for the fruitG2590 of the lightG5457 is in all goodnessG19 and righteousnessG1343 and truthG225), 10proving what isG1510 well-pleasingG2101 unto the LordG2962; 11and have no fellowship with the unfruitfulG175 worksG2041 of darknessG4655, but ratherG3123 evenG2532 reprove them; 12for the things which areG1510 done by them in secret it isG1510 a shame evenG2532 to speakG3004 of. 13But all thingsG3956 when they areG1510 reproved areG1510 madeG5319 manifestG5319 by the lightG5457: for everythingG3956 that isG1510 madeG5319 manifestG5319 isG1510 lightG5457. 14Wherefore he saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and ariseG1453 from the deadG3498, and ChristG5547 shall shine upon thee.
