13And beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,on that veryG846dayἡμέρᾳhēmeraG2250twoδύοduoG1417of them were goingπορευόμενοιporeuomenoiG4198to a villageκώμηνkōmēnG2968namedὄνομαonomaG3686EmmausἘμμαοῦς.EmmaousG1695, which wassixtyἑξήκονταhexēkontaG1835stadiaσταδίουςstadiousG4712from JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419.

14And they were talkingὡμίλουνhōmilounG3656with eachG240otherG240aboutπερὶperiG4012allπάντωνpantōnG3956theseG3778thingsτούτων.toutōnG3778which had takenG4819placeG4819.

15WhileἐνenG1722they were talkingὁμιλεῖνhomileinG3656and discussingσυζητεῖνsuzēteinG4802,JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424HimselfG846approachedἐγγίσαςengisasG1448and begantravelingσυνεπορεύετοsuneporeuetoG4848with them.

16Buttheir eyesὀφθαλμοὶophthalmoiG3788were keptἐκρατοῦντοekratountoG2902from recognizingἐπιγνῶναιepignōnaiG1921Him.

17And He saidG3004to them,“WhatτίνεςtinesG5101are theseοὗτοιhoutoiG3778wordsλόγοιlogoiG3056that you are exchangingἀντιβάλλετεantiballeteG474with oneἀλλήλουςallēlousG240anotherG240as you are walkingπεριπατοῦντες;peripatountesG4043?”And they cameG2476toG2476aG2476stopG2476,lookingG4659sadG4659.

18OneεἷςheisG1520of them,namedὀνόματιonomatiG3686CleopasΚλεοπᾶςKleopasG2810,answeredἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and saidG3004to Him, “Are You possiblythe onlyG3441oneG3441livingG3939nearG3939JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419who does not knowἔγνωςegnōsG1097about the things that happenedγενόμεναgenomenaG1096hereG1722 G846in theseταύταις;tautaisG3778daysἡμέραιςhēmeraisG2250?”

19And He saidG3004to them,“WhatG4169sortG4169ofG4169thingsG4169?”And they saidG3004to Him, “ThoseG3588aboutπερὶperiG4012JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424the NazareneΝαζαρηνοῦ,NazarēnouG3479,whoὃςhosG3739provedἐγένετοegenetoG1096to be aprophetπροφήτηςprophētēsG4396mightyδυνατὸςdunatosG1415in deedἔργῳergōG2041and wordλόγῳlogōG3056inG1726theG1726sightG1726of GodθεοῦtheouG2316and allπαντὸςpantosG3956the peopleλαοῦ,laouG2992,

20and howὅπωςhopōsG3704the chiefἀρχιερεῖςarchiereisG749priestsG749and ourrulersἄρχοντεςarchontesG758handedG3860Him overG3860to be sentencedκρίμαkrimaG2917to deathθανάτουthanatouG2288,and crucifiedἐσταύρωσανestaurōsanG4717Him.
