2“ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478saysH559: ‘Writeכְּתָב־ke.tov-H3789allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֛יםha.de.va.RimH1697whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I have spokenדִּבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to you in a bookסֵֽפֶר׃Se.ferH5612.

3For beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,daysיָמִ֤יםya.MimH3117are comingבָּאִים֙ba.'ImH935,’declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, ‘when I willrestoreH7725the fortunesשְׁב֨וּתshe.VutH7622of My peopleעַמִּ֧י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478and Judahוִֽיהוּדָ֖הvi.hu.DahH3063.’The Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559, ‘I will alsobringH7725them backH7725to the landהָאָ֛רֶץha.'A.retzH776that I gaveנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414to their forefathersלַאֲבוֹתָ֖םla.'a.vo.TamH1,and they shall takeוִֽירֵשֽׁוּהָ׃ פVi.re.Shu.haH3423possessionH3423of it.’”

6Askשַׁאֲלוּ־sha.'a.lu-H7592nowנָ֣אna'H4994,and seeוּרְא֔וּu.re.'UH7200Ifאִם־'im-H518a maleזָכָ֑רza.KharH2145can giveH3205birthיֹלֵ֖דyo.LedH3205.Whyמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069do I seeרָאִ֨יתִיra.'I.tiH7200everyכָל־khol-H3605manגֶּ֜בֶרGe.verH1397Withhis handsיָדָ֤יוya.DavH3027on his waistחֲלָצָיו֙cha.la.TzavH2504,as a woman inכַּיּ֣וֹלֵדָ֔הkai.Yo.le.DahH3205childbirthH3205? And whyhave allכָל־khol-H3605facesפָּנִ֖יםpa.NimH6440turnedוְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּve.ne.hef.KhuH2015paleלְיֵרָקֽוֹן׃le.ye.ra.KonH3420?

7Woeה֗וֹיHoH1945, for thatdayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117is greatגָד֛וֹלga.DolH1419,ThereH369isH369noneH369likeכָּמֹ֑הוּka.Mo.huH3644it;And it is the timeוְעֵֽת־ve.'EtH6256of Jacob’sלְיַֽעֲקֹ֔בle.ya.'a.KoH3290distressצָרָ֥הtza.RahH6869, Yet he will besavedיִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃yi.va.She.a'H3467from it.

8‘It shall comeH1961aboutH1961on that dayבַיּ֨וֹםvai.YomH3117,’declaresנְאֻ֣ם׀ne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֗וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, ‘that I willbreakאֶשְׁבֹּ֤ר'esh.BorH7665his yokeעֻלּוֹ֙u.LoH5923fromtheir necksצַוָּארֶ֔ךָtza.va.Re.khaH6677and will tearאֲנַתֵּ֑ק'a.na.TekH5423toH5423piecesH5423theirrestraintsוּמוֹסְרוֹתֶ֖יךָu.mos.ro.Tei.khaH4147;and strangersזָרִֽים׃za.RimH2114will noוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808longerע֖וֹדodH5750makeH5647them their slavesH5647.

9But they shall serveוְעָ֣בְד֔וּve.'A.ve.DuH5647the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430andDavidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732their kingמַלְכָּ֔םmal.KamH4428,whomאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I will raiseאָקִ֖ים'a.KimH6965upH6965for them.

10Anddo not fearתִּירָא֩ti.Ra'H3372,Jacobיַעֲקֹ֤בya.'a.KoH3290My servantעַבְדִּ֨י'av.DiH5650,’declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהֹוָה֙Yah.wehH3068, ‘And do not be dismayedתֵּחַ֣תte.ChatH2865,Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;For beholdH2009,I am going to saveמוֹשִֽׁיעֲךָ֙mo.shi.'a.KhaH3467youfrom farH7350awayH7350, And yourdescendantsזַרְעֲךָ֖zar.'a.KhaH2233from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of their captivityשִׁבְיָ֑םshiv.YamH7628.And Jacobיַעֲקֹ֛בya.'a.KoH3290will returnוְשָׁ֧בve.ShavH7725and beH8252atH8252peaceH8252,withoutH7599anxietyH7599, AndnoH369oneH369will makeH2729him afraidH2729.

11ForI am with you,’ declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, ‘to saveלְהֽוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָle.ho.shi.'E.khaH3467you;For I will completelyH3617destroyאֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה'e.'e.SehH6213 H3617allבְּכָֽל־be.kholH3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ha.go.YimH1471whereאֲשֶׁ֧ר שָּׁ֗ם'a.Sher ShamH834 H8033I have scatteredהֲפִצוֹתִ֣יךָha.fi.tzo.Ti.khaH6327you,Onlyאַ֤ךְ'akhH389I willnot destroyאֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה'e.'e.SehH6213 H3617you completelyH3617. 12“For thisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֛ר'a.MarH559: ‘Your brokenH4347limbis irreparableאָנ֣וּשׁ'a.NushH605, And yourwoundמַכָּתֵֽךְ׃ma.ka.TekhH4347is incurableנַחְלָ֖הnach.LahH2470.

13ThereH369isH369noH369oneH369to pleadדָּ֥ןdanH1777your causeדִּינֵ֖ךְdi.NekhH1779; Nohealingרְפֻא֥וֹתre.fu.'otH7499for yoursoreלְמָז֑וֹרle.ma.ZorH4205,NoH369recoveryתְּעָלָ֖הte.'a.LahH8585for you.

14Allכָּל־kol-H3605yourloversמְאַהֲבַ֣יִךְme.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157have forgottenשְׁכֵח֔וּךְshe.khe.ChukhH7911you,They do not seekיִדְרֹ֑שׁוּyid.Ro.shuH1875you; For I havewoundedהִכִּיתִיךְ֙hi.ki.tiKhH5221you with the woundמַכַּ֨תma.KatH4347of an enemyH340, With thepunishmentמוּסַ֣רmu.SarH4148of acruelאַכְזָרִ֔י'akh.za.RiH394oneH394,Becauseעַ֚ל'alH5921yourwrongdoingעֲוֹנֵ֔ךְ'a.vo.NekhH5771is greatרֹ֣בroH7230, And yoursinsחַטֹּאתָֽיִךְ׃cha.to.Ta.yikhH2403areH6105numerousעָצְמ֖וּ'a.tze.MuH6105.

15Whyמַה־mah-H4100do you cryתִּזְעַק֙tiz.'AkH2199outH2199overעַל־'al-H5921your injuryשִׁבְרֵ֔ךְshiv.RekhH7667?Your painמַכְאֹבֵ֑ךְmakh.'o.VekhH4341is incurableאָנ֖וּשׁ'a.NushH605.Becauseעַ֣ל׀'alH5921your wrongdoingעֲוֹנֵ֗ךְ'a.vo.NekhH5771is greatרֹ֣בroH7230Andyour sinsחַטֹּאתַ֔יִךְcha.to.Ta.yikhH2403areH6105numerousעָֽצְמוּ֙'a.tze.MuH6105,I have doneעָשִׂ֥יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213theseH428thingsאֵ֖לֶּה'E.lehH428to you.

16Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651allH3605whodevourאֹכְלַ֙יִךְ֙'o.khe.La.yikhH398you will be devouredיֵאָכֵ֔לוּye.'a.Khe.luH398;And allH3605your adversariesצָרַ֥יִךְtza.Ra.yikhH6862,everyH3605oneH3605of them,will goיֵלֵ֑כוּye.Le.khuH1980into captivityבַּשְּׁבִ֣יba.she.ViH7628;And those who plunderשֹׁאסַ֙יִךְ֙sho.Sa.yikhH8155you will becomeוְהָי֤וּve.ha.YuH1961plunderלִמְשִׁסָּ֔הlim.shi.SahH4933,And allH3605who plunderבֹּזְזַ֖יִךְbo.ze.Za.yikhH962you I will turnאֶתֵּ֥ן'e.TenH5414into plunderלָבַֽז׃la.VazH957.

17For I willrestoreאַעֲלֶ֨ה'a.'a.LehH5927you tohealthאֲרֻכָ֥ה'a.ru.KhahH724And I will healאֶרְפָּאֵ֖ךְ'er.pa.'EkhH7495you of your woundsוּמִמַּכּוֹתַ֥יִךְu.mi.ma.ko.Ta.yikhH4347,’declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, ‘BecauseH3588they have calledקָ֣רְאוּKa.re.'uH7121you anoutcastנִדָּחָה֙ni.da.ChahH5080, saying: “It is Zionצִיּ֣וֹןtzi.YonH6726;noH369oneH369caresדֹּרֵ֖שׁdo.ReshH1875for her.”’

18“ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘BeholdH2009, I willrestoreשָׁב֙shavH7725the fortunesשְׁבוּת֙she.VutH7622of the tentsאָהֳלֵ֣י'o.ho.LeiH168of Jacobיַֽעֲק֔וֹבya.'a.KovH3290AndhaveH7355compassionאֲרַחֵ֑ם'a.ra.ChemH7355onH7355his dwellingsוּמִשְׁכְּנֹתָ֖יוu.mish.ke.no.TavH4908; And thecityעִיר֙'irH5892will be rebuiltוְנִבְנְתָ֥הve.niv.ne.TahH1129on its ruinsתִּלָּ֔הּti.LahH8510, And thepalaceוְאַרְמ֖וֹןve.'ar.MonH759will standיֵשֵֽׁב׃ye.ShevH3427on its rightfulH4941placeH4941.

19From them will comeוְיָצָ֥אve.ya.Tza'H3318asongH8426ofH8426thanksgivingתּוֹדָ֖הto.DahH8426And the voicesוְק֣וֹלve.KolH6963of those whocelebrateמְשַׂחֲקִ֑יםme.sa.cha.KimH7832; And I willmultiplyוְהִרְבִּתִים֙ve.hir.bi.TimH7235them and they will not decreaseיִמְעָ֔טוּyim.'A.tuH4591; I willhonorוְהִכְבַּדְתִּ֖יםve.hikh.bad.TimH3513them and they will not be insignificantיִצְעָֽרוּ׃yitz.'A.ruH6819.

20Their childrenבָנָיו֙va.NavH1121also will be as beforeכְּקֶ֔דֶםke.Ke.demH6924, Andtheir congregationוַעֲדָת֖וֹva.'a.da.ToH5712will beestablishedתִּכּ֑וֹןti.KonH3559beforeלְפָנַ֣יle.fa.NaiH6440Me;And I will punishוּפָ֣קַדְתִּ֔יu.Fa.kad.TiH6485allכָּל־kol-H3605their oppressorsלֹחֲצָֽיו׃lo.cha.TzavH3905.

21Theirleaderאַדִּיר֜וֹ'a.di.RoH117shall be one of them, Andtheir rulerוּמֹֽשְׁלוֹ֙u.mo.she.LoH4910will comeיֵצֵ֔אye.Tze'H3318outH3318fromtheir midstמִקִּרְבּ֣וֹmi.kir.BoH7130; And I willbringוְהִקְרַבְתִּ֖יוve.hik.rav.TivH7126him nearH7126and he shall approachוְנִגַּ֣שׁve.ni.GashH5066Me; Forwhoמִ֨יmiH4310would dareH6148toH6148riskH6148his lifeלִבּ֛וֹli.BoH3820toapproachלָגֶ֥שֶׁתla.Ge.shetH5066Me?’ declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

22‘You shall beMy peopleלְעָ֑םle.'AmH5971,And I will be your Godלֵאלֹהִֽים׃ סle.lo.HimH430.’”

23Beholdהִנֵּ֣ה׀hi.NehH2009, thetempestסַעֲרַ֣תsa.'a.RatH5591of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068!Wrathחֵמָה֙che.MahH2534has goneH3318forthH3318, Asweepingמִתְגּוֹרֵ֑רmit.go.RerH1641tempestסַ֖עַרSa.'arH5591;It will whirlיָחֽוּל׃ya.ChulH2342upon the headרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218of the wickedרְשָׁעִ֖יםre.sha.'ImH7563.

24Thefierceחֲרוֹן֙cha.rOnH2740angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068will not turnיָשׁ֗וּבya.ShuvH7725backH7725UntilH5704He has performedעֲשֹׂת֥וֹa.so.ToH6213and accomplishedהֲקִימ֖וֹha.ki.MoH6965The intentמְזִמּ֣וֹתme.zi.MotH4209of His heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820.
