2Thus speakethאָמַ֧ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Writeכְּתָב־ke.tov-H3789thee all the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֛יםha.de.va.RimH1697that I have spokenדִּבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto thee in a bookסֵֽפֶר׃Se.ferH5612.

3For, lo, the daysיָמִ֤יםya.MimH3117comeבָּאִים֙ba.'ImH935,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,that I will bring againוְ֠שַׁבְתִּיVe.shav.tiH7725the captivityשְׁב֨וּתshe.VutH7622of my peopleעַמִּ֧י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478and Judahוִֽיהוּדָ֖הvi.hu.DahH3063,saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:and I will cause them to returnוַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֗יםva.ha.shi.vo.TimH7725to the landהָאָ֛רֶץha.'A.retzH776that I gaveנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414to their fathersלַאֲבוֹתָ֖םla.'a.vo.TamH1,and they shall possessוִֽירֵשֽׁוּהָ׃ פVi.re.Shu.haH3423it.

4And these arethe wordsהַדְּבָרִ֗יםha.de.va.RimH1697that Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068spakeדִּבֶּ֧רdi.BerH1696concerning Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478and concerning Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

5For thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;We have heardשָׁמָ֑עְנוּsha.Ma.'e.nuH8085a voiceק֥וֹלKolH6963of tremblingחֲרָדָ֖הcha.ra.DahH2731,of fearפַּ֖חַדPa.chadH6343,and not of peaceשָׁלֽוֹם׃sha.LomH7965.

6Askשַׁאֲלוּ־sha.'a.lu-H7592ye now, and seeוּרְא֔וּu.re.'UH7200whether a manזָכָ֑רza.KharH2145doth travail with childיֹלֵ֖דyo.LedH3205?wherefore do I seeרָאִ֨יתִיra.'I.tiH7200every manגֶּ֜בֶרGe.verH1397with his handsיָדָ֤יוya.DavH3027on his loinsחֲלָצָיו֙cha.la.TzavH2504,as a woman in travailכַּיּ֣וֹלֵדָ֔הkai.Yo.le.DahH3205,and all facesפָּנִ֖יםpa.NimH6440are turnedוְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּve.ne.hef.KhuH2015into palenessלְיֵרָקֽוֹן׃le.ye.ra.KonH3420?

7Alasה֗וֹיHoH1945!for that dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117isgreatגָד֛וֹלga.DolH1419,so thatמֵאַ֣יִןme.'A.yinH369none is like it: it iseven the timeוְעֵֽת־ve.'EtH6256of Jacob’sלְיַֽעֲקֹ֔בle.ya.'a.KoH3290troubleצָרָ֥הtza.RahH6869;but he shall be savedיִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃yi.va.She.a'H3467out of it.

8For it shall come to pass in that dayבַיּ֨וֹםvai.YomH3117,saithנְאֻ֣ם׀ne.'UmH5002Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָא֗וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, thatI will breakאֶשְׁבֹּ֤ר'esh.BorH7665his yokeעֻלּוֹ֙u.LoH5923from off thy neckצַוָּארֶ֔ךָtza.va.Re.khaH6677,and will burstאֲנַתֵּ֑ק'a.na.TekH5423thy bondsוּמוֹסְרוֹתֶ֖יךָu.mos.ro.Tei.khaH4147,and strangersזָרִֽים׃za.RimH2114shall no more serveיַעַבְדוּ־ya.'av.du-H5647themselves of him:

9But they shall serveוְעָ֣בְד֔וּve.'A.ve.DuH5647Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430,and Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732their kingמַלְכָּ֔םmal.KamH4428,whom I will raise upאָקִ֖ים'a.KimH6965unto them.

10Therefore fearתִּירָא֩ti.Ra'H3372thou not, O my servantעַבְדִּ֨י'av.DiH5650Jacobיַעֲקֹ֤בya.'a.KoH3290,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהֹוָה֙Yah.wehH3068;neither be dismayedתֵּחַ֣תte.ChatH2865,O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478:for, lo, I will saveמוֹשִֽׁיעֲךָ֙mo.shi.'a.KhaH3467thee from afarמֵֽרָח֔וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350,and thy seedזַרְעֲךָ֖zar.'a.KhaH2233from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of their captivityשִׁבְיָ֑םshiv.YamH7628;and Jacobיַעֲקֹ֛בya.'a.KoH3290shall returnוְשָׁ֧בve.ShavH7725,and shall be in restוְשָׁקַ֥טve.sha.KatH8252,and be quietוְשַׁאֲנַ֖ןve.sha.'a.NanH7599, and none shall make himafraidמַחֲרִֽיד׃ma.cha.RidH2729.

11For I amwith thee, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,to saveלְהֽוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָle.ho.shi.'E.khaH3467thee: though I makeאֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה'e.'e.SehH6213a full endכָלָ֜הkha.LahH3617of all nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ha.go.YimH1471whither I have scatteredהֲפִצוֹתִ֣יךָha.fi.tzo.Ti.khaH6327thee, yet will I not makeאֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה'e.'e.SehH6213a full endכָלָ֔הkha.LahH3617of thee: but I will correctוְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ve.yi.sar.Ti.khaH3256thee in measureלַמִּשְׁפָּ֔טla.mish.PatH4941,and will not leave thee altogetherוְנַקֵּ֖הve.na.KehH5352unpunishedאֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃ פ'a.na.Ke.kaH5352.

12For thus saithאָמַ֛ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,Thy bruiseלְשִׁבְרֵ֑ךְle.shiv.RekhH7667isincurableאָנ֣וּשׁ'a.NushH605, andthy woundמַכָּתֵֽךְ׃ma.ka.TekhH4347isgrievousנַחְלָ֖הnach.LahH2470.

13There isnone to pleadדָּ֥ןdanH1777thy causeדִּינֵ֖ךְdi.NekhH1779,that thou mayest be bound upלְמָז֑וֹרle.ma.ZorH4205:thou hast no healingתְּעָלָ֖הte.'a.LahH8585medicinesרְפֻא֥וֹתre.fu.'otH7499.

14All thy loversמְאַהֲבַ֣יִךְme.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157have forgottenשְׁכֵח֔וּךְshe.khe.ChukhH7911thee; they seekיִדְרֹ֑שׁוּyid.Ro.shuH1875thee not; for I have woundedהִכִּיתִיךְ֙hi.ki.tiKhH5221thee with the woundמַכַּ֨תma.KatH4347of an enemyאוֹיֵ֤ב'o.YevH341,with the chastisementמוּסַ֣רmu.SarH4148of a cruel oneאַכְזָרִ֔י'akh.za.RiH394,for the multitudeרֹ֣בroH7230of thine iniquityעֲוֹנֵ֔ךְ'a.vo.NekhH5771; becausethy sinsחַטֹּאתָֽיִךְ׃cha.to.Ta.yikhH2403were increasedעָצְמ֖וּ'a.tze.MuH6105.

15Why criestתִּזְעַק֙tiz.'AkH2199thou for thine afflictionשִׁבְרֵ֔ךְshiv.RekhH7667?thy sorrowמַכְאֹבֵ֑ךְmakh.'o.VekhH4341isincurableאָנ֖וּשׁ'a.NushH605for the multitudeרֹ֣בroH7230of thine iniquityעֲוֹנֵ֗ךְ'a.vo.NekhH5771: becausethy sinsחַטֹּאתַ֔יִךְcha.to.Ta.yikhH2403were increasedעָֽצְמוּ֙'a.tze.MuH6105,I have doneעָשִׂ֥יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213these things unto thee.

16Therefore all they that devourאֹכְלַ֙יִךְ֙'o.khe.La.yikhH398thee shall be devouredיֵאָכֵ֔לוּye.'a.Khe.luH398;and all thine adversariesצָרַ֥יִךְtza.Ra.yikhH6862,every one of them, shall goH3212into captivityבַּשְּׁבִ֣יba.she.ViH7628;and they that spoilH8154 H7601thee shall be a spoilלִמְשִׁסָּ֔הlim.shi.SahH4933,and all that preyבֹּזְזַ֖יִךְbo.ze.Za.yikhH962upon thee will I giveאֶתֵּ֥ן'e.TenH5414for a preyלָבַֽז׃la.VazH957.

17For I will restoreאַעֲלֶ֨ה'a.'a.LehH5927healthאֲרֻכָ֥ה'a.ru.KhahH724unto thee, and I will healאֶרְפָּאֵ֖ךְ'er.pa.'EkhH7495thee of thy woundsוּמִמַּכּוֹתַ֥יִךְu.mi.ma.ko.Ta.yikhH4347,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;because they calledקָ֣רְאוּKa.re.'uH7121thee an Outcastנִדָּחָה֙ni.da.ChahH5080, saying, This isZionצִיּ֣וֹןtzi.YonH6726,whom no man seeketh afterדֹּרֵ֖שׁdo.ReshH1875.

18Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068;Behold, I will bring againשָׁב֙shavH7725the captivityשְׁבוּת֙she.VutH7622of Jacob’sיַֽעֲק֔וֹבya.'a.KovH3290tentsאָהֳלֵ֣י'o.ho.LeiH168,and have mercyאֲרַחֵ֑ם'a.ra.ChemH7355on his dwellingplacesוּמִשְׁכְּנֹתָ֖יוu.mish.ke.no.TavH4908;and the cityעִיר֙'irH5892shall be buildedוְנִבְנְתָ֥הve.niv.ne.TahH1129upon her own heapתִּלָּ֔הּti.LahH8510,and the palaceוְאַרְמ֖וֹןve.'ar.MonH759shall remainיֵשֵֽׁב׃ye.ShevH3427after the mannerמִשְׁפָּט֥וֹmish.pa.ToH4941thereof.

19And out of them shall proceedוְיָצָ֥אve.ya.Tza'H3318thanksgivingתּוֹדָ֖הto.DahH8426and the voiceוְק֣וֹלve.KolH6963of them that make merryמְשַׂחֲקִ֑יםme.sa.cha.KimH7832:and I will multiplyוְהִרְבִּתִים֙ve.hir.bi.TimH7235them, and they shall not be fewיִמְעָ֔טוּyim.'A.tuH4591;I will also glorifyוְהִכְבַּדְתִּ֖יםve.hikh.bad.TimH3513them, and they shall not be smallיִצְעָֽרוּ׃yitz.'A.ruH6819.

20Their childrenבָנָיו֙va.NavH1121also shall be as aforetimeכְּקֶ֔דֶםke.Ke.demH6924,and their congregationוַעֲדָת֖וֹva.'a.da.ToH5712shall be establishedתִּכּ֑וֹןti.KonH3559beforeלְפָנַ֣יle.fa.NaiH6440me, and I will punishוּפָ֣קַדְתִּ֔יu.Fa.kad.TiH6485all that oppressלֹחֲצָֽיו׃lo.cha.TzavH3905them.

21And their noblesאַדִּיר֜וֹ'a.di.RoH117shall be of themselves, and their governorוּמֹֽשְׁלוֹ֙u.mo.she.LoH4910shall proceedיֵצֵ֔אye.Tze'H3318from the midstמִקִּרְבּ֣וֹmi.kir.BoH7130of them; and I will cause him to draw nearוְהִקְרַבְתִּ֖יוve.hik.rav.TivH7126,and he shall approachוְנִגַּ֣שׁve.ni.GashH5066unto me: for who isthis that engagedעָרַ֧ב'a.RavH6148his heartלִבּ֛וֹli.BoH3820to approachלָגֶ֥שֶׁתla.Ge.shetH5066unto me? saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

22And ye shall be my peopleלְעָ֑םle.'AmH5971,and I will be your Godלֵאלֹהִֽים׃ סle.lo.HimH430.

23Behold, the whirlwindסַעֲרַ֣תsa.'a.RatH5591of Yhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068goeth forthיָֽצְאָ֔הya.tze.'AhH3318with furyחֵמָה֙che.MahH2534,a continuingמִתְגּוֹרֵ֑רmit.go.RerH1641whirlwindסַ֖עַרSa.'arH5591:it shall fall with painיָחֽוּל׃ya.ChulH2342upon the headרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218of the wickedרְשָׁעִ֖יםre.sha.'ImH7563.

24The fierceחֲרוֹן֙cha.rOnH2740angerאַף־'af-H639of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068shall not returnיָשׁ֗וּבya.ShuvH7725,until he have doneעֲשֹׂת֥וֹa.so.ToH6213it,and until he have performedהֲקִימ֖וֹha.ki.MoH6965the intentsמְזִמּ֣וֹתme.zi.MotH4209of his heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820:in the latterבְּאַחֲרִ֥יתbe.'a.cha.RitH319daysהַיָּמִ֖יםhai.ya.MimH3117ye shall considerתִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּtit.Bo.nuH995it.
