1“Shoutרָנִּ֥יra.NiH7442forH7442joyH7442,infertileH6135oneH6135,you who have not givenH3205birthיָלָ֑דָהya.La.dahH3205to any child;Breakפִּצְחִ֨יpitz.ChiH6476forthH6476into joyfulH7440shoutingרִנָּ֤הri.NahH7440and cryוְצַהֲלִי֙ve.tza.ha.LiH6670aloudH6670,you who have not beenH2342inH2342laborחָ֔לָהCha.lahH2342;For the sonsבְּֽנֵי־be.nei-H1121of thedesolateשׁוֹמֵמָ֛הsho.me.MahH8074one will bemoreH4480numerousרַבִּ֧יםra.BimH7227ThanH4480the sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of the marriedבְעוּלָ֖הve.'u.LahH1166woman,” saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

2“Enlargeהַרְחִ֣יבִי׀har.Chi.viH7337the placeמְק֣וֹםme.KomH4725of your tentאָהֳלֵ֗ךְ'o.ho.LekhH168;Stretchיַטּ֖וּya.TuH5186outH5186the curtainsוִירִיע֧וֹתvi.ri.'otH3407of your dwellingsמִשְׁכְּנוֹתַ֛יִךְmish.ke.no.Ta.yikhH4908,do not spareתַּחְשֹׂ֑כִיtach.So.khiH2820them;Lengthenהַאֲרִ֙יכִי֙ha.'a.Ri.khiH748yourropesמֵֽיתָרַ֔יִךְmei.ta.Ra.yikhH4340And strengthenחַזֵּֽקִי׃cha.Ze.kiH2388yourpegsוִיתֵדֹתַ֖יִךְvi.te.do.Ta.yikhH3489.

3For you willspreadתִּפְרֹ֑צִיtif.Ro.tziH6555outH6555to the rightיָמִ֥יןya.MinH3225and to the leftוּשְׂמֹ֖אולu.se.MolH8040. And yourdescendantsוְזַרְעֵךְ֙ve.zar.'eKhH2233willpossessיִירָ֔שׁyi.RashH3423nationsגּוֹיִ֣םgo.YimH1471And willresettleיוֹשִֽׁיבוּ׃yo.Shi.vuH3427the desolateנְשַׁמּ֖וֹתne.sha.MotH8074citiesוְעָרִ֥יםve.'a.RimH5892.

4“Fearתִּֽירְאִי֙ti.re.'IH3372not, for you willnot be putתֵב֔וֹשִׁיte.Vo.o.shiH954toH954shameH954;And do not feelH3637humiliatedH3637,for you will not be disgracedתַחְפִּ֑ירִיtach.Pi.riH2659;But you will forgetתִּשְׁכָּ֔חִיtish.Ka.chiH7911theshameבֹ֤שֶׁתVo.shetH1322of your youthעֲלוּמַ֙יִךְ֙'a.lu.Ma.yikhH5934,And noH3808longerעֽוֹד׃odH5750rememberתִזְכְּרִי־tiz.ke.ri-H2142thedisgraceוְחֶרְפַּ֥תve.cher.PatH2781of your widowhoodאַלְמְנוּתַ֖יִךְ'al.me.nu.Ta.yikhH491.

5For yourhusbandבֹעֲלַ֙יִךְ֙vo.'a.La.yikhH1166is your Makerעֹשַׂ֔יִךְ'o.Sa.yikhH6213,Whose nameשְׁמ֑וֹshe.MoH8034is the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635; And yourRedeemerוְגֹֽאֲלֵךְ֙ve.go.'a.leKhH1350is the Holyקְד֣וֹשׁke.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,Who is calledיִקָּרֵֽא׃yi.ka.Re'H7121theGodאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of allכָל־khol-H3605the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776.

6For the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068has calledקְרָאָ֣ךְke.ra.'AkhH7121you,Like a wifeכְאִשָּׁ֧הkhe.'i.ShahH802forsakenעֲזוּבָ֛ה'a.zu.VahH5800and grievedוַעֲצ֥וּבַתva.'a.Tzu.vatH6087in spiritר֖וּחַRu.achH7307,Even like a wifeוְאֵ֧שֶׁתve.'E.shetH802of one’syouthנְעוּרִ֛יםne.'u.RimH5271whenH3588she is rejectedתִמָּאֵ֖סti.ma.'EsH3988,”Saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559your Godאֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃'e.lo.Ha.yikhH430.

7“For abriefקָטֹ֖ןka.TonH6996momentבְּרֶ֥גַעbe.Re.ga'H7281I abandonedעֲזַבְתִּ֑יךְ'a.zav.TikhH5800you,But with greatגְּדֹלִ֖יםge.do.LimH1419compassionוּבְרַחֲמִ֥יםu.ve.ra.cha.MimH7356I willgatherאֲקַבְּצֵֽךְ׃'a.ka.be.TzekhH6908you.

8In anoutburstH7858of angerקֶ֗צֶףKe.tzefH7110I hidהִסְתַּ֨רְתִּיhis.Tar.tiH5641My faceפָנַ֥יfa.NaiH6440from you for a momentרֶ֙גַע֙re.ga'H7281,But with everlastingעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769favorוּבְחֶ֥סֶדu.ve.Che.sedH2617I willhaveH7355compassionרִֽחַמְתִּ֑יךְri.cham.TikhH7355onH7355you,”Saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068yourRedeemerגֹּאֲלֵ֖ךְgo.'a.LekhH1350.

9“ForthisH2088is like the daysH3117of Noahנֹ֙חַ֙no.achH5146to Me,Whenאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I sworeנִשְׁבַּ֗עְתִּיnish.Ba'.tiH7650that the watersH4325of Noahנֹ֛חַNo.achH5146Would notfloodמֵעֲבֹ֥רme.'a.VorH5674the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776againע֖וֹדodH5750;Soכֵּ֥ןkenH3651I have swornנִשְׁבַּ֛עְתִּיnish.Ba'.tiH7650that I willnot beH7107angryמִקְּצֹ֥ףmi.ke.TzofH7107with youNorH4480rebukeוּמִגְּעָר־u.mi.ge.'or-H1605you.

10For themountainsהֶֽהָרִים֙he.ha.RimH2022may be removedיָמ֔וּשׁוּya.Mu.shuH4185and the hillsוְהַגְּבָע֖וֹתve.ha.ge.va.'otH1389may shakeתְּמוּטֶ֑נָהte.mu.Te.nahH4131, But Myfavorוְחַסְדִּ֞יve.chas.DiH2617will not be removedיָמ֗וּשׁya.MushH4185from you,NorH3808will Mycovenantוּבְרִ֤יתu.ve.RitH1285of peaceשְׁלוֹמִי֙she.lo.MiH7965be shakenתָמ֔וּטta.MutH4131,”Saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068who hasH7355compassionמְרַחֲמֵ֖ךְme.ra.cha.MekhH7355onH7355you.

11“AfflictedH6041oneעֲנִיָּ֥ה'a.ni.YahH6041,storm-tossedסֹעֲרָ֖הso.'a.RahH5590, andnot comfortedנֻחָ֑מָהnu.Cha.mahH5162,Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,I will setמַרְבִּ֤יץmar.BitzH7257your stonesאֲבָנַ֔יִךְ'a.va.Na.yikhH68in antimonyבַּפּוּךְ֙ba.puKhH6320, And I willlayH3245your foundationsH3245withsapphiresבַּסַּפִּירִֽים׃ba.sa.pi.RimH5601.

12Moreover, I will makeוְשַׂמְתִּ֤יve.sam.TiH7760your battlementsשִׁמְשֹׁתַ֔יִךְshim.sho.Ta.yikhH8121ofrubiesכַּֽדְכֹד֙kad.KhodH3539,And your gatesוּשְׁעָרַ֖יִךְu.she.'a.Ra.yikhH8179ofcrystalאֶקְדָּ֑ח'ek.DachH688,And your entireוְכָל־ve.kholH3605wallגְּבוּלֵ֖ךְge.vu.LekhH1366of preciousחֵֽפֶץ׃Che.fetzH2656stonesH68.

13Allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605your sonsבָּנַ֖יִךְba.Na.yikhH1121will betaughtלִמּוּדֵ֣יli.mu.DeiH3928by the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;And the well-beingשְׁל֥וֹםshe.LomH7965of your sonsבָּנָֽיִךְ׃ba.Na.yikhH1121will begreatוְרַ֖בve.RavH7227.

14Inrighteousnessבִּצְדָקָ֖הbitz.da.KahH6666you will be establishedתִּכּוֹנָ֑נִיti.ko.Na.niH3559;You will beH7368farH7368fromoppressionמֵעֹ֙שֶׁק֙me.'O.shekH6233, for you willnot fearתִירָ֔אִיti.Ra.'iH3372; And fromterrorוּמִ֨מְּחִתָּ֔הu.Mi.me.chi.TahH4288,for it will not comeH7126nearH7126you.

15Ifהֵ֣ןhenH2005anyone fiercelyגּ֥וֹרGorH1481attacksיָג֛וּרya.GurH1481you, it will not be from Me.Whoeverמִי־mi-H4310attacksגָ֥רgarH1481you will fallיִפּֽוֹל׃yi.PolH5307becauseעָלַ֥יִךְ'a.La.yikhH5921of you.

16BeholdH2005,I MyselfH595have createdבָּרָ֣אתִיba.Ra.tiH1254the smithחָרָ֔שׁcha.RashH2796who blowsנֹפֵ֙חַ֙no.Fe.achH5301on the fireבְּאֵ֣שׁbe.'EshH784of coalsפֶּחָ֔םpe.ChamH6352And producesוּמוֹצִ֥יאu.mo.Tzi'H3318a weaponכְלִ֖יkhe.LiH3627for its workלְמַעֲשֵׂ֑הוּle.ma.'a.Se.huH4639;And I have createdבָּרָ֥אתִיba.Ra.tiH1254the destroyerמַשְׁחִ֖יתmash.ChitH7843to inflictH2254ruinלְחַבֵּֽל׃le.cha.BelH2254.

17Noכָּל־ לֹ֣אkol- lo'H3605 H3808weaponכְּלִ֞יke.LiH3627that is formedיוּצַ֤רyu.TzarH3335againstעָלַ֙יִךְ֙'a.La.yikhH5921you will succeedיִצְלָ֔חyitz.LachH6743;And you will condemnתַּרְשִׁ֑יעִיtar.Shi.'iH7561everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605tongueלָשׁ֛וֹןla.ShonH3956thataccusesתָּֽקוּם־ta.kum-H6965you in judgmentלַמִּשְׁפָּ֖טla.mish.PatH4941.ThisH2088is the heritageנַחֲלַת֩na.cha.LatH5159of the servantsעַבְדֵ֨י'av.DeiH5650of the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068, And theirvindicationוְצִדְקָתָ֛םve.tzid.ka.TamH6666is from Me,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.
