1For beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,the LordH136Godיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֗וֹתtze.va.'otH6635is going to removeמֵסִ֤ירme.SirH5493from Jerusalemמִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙mi.ru.sha.LimH3389and Judahוּמִ֣יהוּדָ֔הu.Mi.hu.DahH3063Bothsupplyמַשְׁעֵ֖ןmash.'EnH4937and supportוּמַשְׁעֵנָ֑הu.mash.'e.NahH4938,the entireכֹּ֚לkolH3605supplyמִשְׁעַן־mish.'an-H4937of breadלֶ֔חֶםLe.chemH3899And the entireוְכֹ֖לve.KholH3605supplyמִשְׁעַן־mish.'an-H4937of waterמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325;

2The mightyH1368manH1368and the warriorוְאִ֣ישׁ מִלְחָמָ֑הve.'Ish mil.cha.MahH376 H4421,The judgeשׁוֹפֵ֥טsho.FetH8199and the prophetוְנָבִ֖יאve.na.Vi'H5030,The divinerוְקֹסֵ֥םve.ko.SemH7080and the elderוְזָקֵֽן׃ve.za.KenH2205,

3The captainשַׂר־sar-H8269of fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֖יםcha.mi.ShimH2572and the esteemedוּנְשׂ֣וּא פָנִ֑יםu.ne.Su' fa.NimH5375 H6440person,The counselorוְיוֹעֵ֛ץve.yo.'EtzH3289and the expertוַחֲכַ֥םva.cha.KhamH2450artisanH2796,And the skillfulוּנְב֥וֹןu.ne.VonH995enchanterלָֽחַשׁ׃La.chashH3908.

4And I will makeוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414mereboysנְעָרִ֖יםne.'a.RimH5288their leadersשָׂרֵיהֶ֑םsa.rei.HemH8269, Andmischievousוְתַעֲלוּלִ֖יםve.ta.'a.lu.LimH8586childrenwill ruleיִמְשְׁלוּ־yim.she.lu-H4910over them,

5And the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971will beoppressedוְנִגַּ֣שׂve.ni.GasH5065,EachH376oneH376by anotherH376,and eachH376oneH376by hisneighborבְּרֵעֵ֑הוּbe.re.'E.huH7453;The youthהַנַּ֙עַר֙ha.Na.'arH5288will assaultיִרְהֲב֗וּyir.ha.VuH7292the elderבַּזָּקֵ֔ןba.za.KenH2205,And the contemptibleוְהַנִּקְלֶ֖הve.ha.nik.LehH7034person will assaultthe one honoredבַּנִּכְבָּֽד׃ba.nikh.BadH3513.

6Whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588a manאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376laysH8610holdH8610of his brotherבְּאָחִיו֙be.'a.ChivH251in his father’sאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004, saying, “You have a cloakשִׂמְלָ֣הsim.LahH8071,you shall be our rulerקָצִ֖יןka.TzinH7101!And theseH2088ruinsוְהַמַּכְשֵׁלָ֥הve.ha.makh.she.LahH4384will be underתַּ֥חַתTa.chatH8478yourauthorityיָדֶֽךָ׃ya.De.khaH3027,”

7He willprotestיִשָּׂא֩yi.Sa'H5375on that dayבַיּ֨וֹםvai.YomH3117,sayingלֵאמֹר֙le.MorH559, “I will not be yourhealerחֹבֵ֔שׁcho.VeshH2280,For in my houseוּבְבֵיתִ֕יu.ve.vei.TiH1004thereH369isH369neitherH369breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899norH369cloakשִׂמְלָ֑הsim.LahH8071;You should not appointתְשִׂימֻ֖נִיte.si.Mu.niH7760me rulerקְצִ֥יןke.TzinH7101of the peopleעָֽם׃'AmH5971.”

8ForJerusalemיְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םye.Ru.sha.LimH3389has stumbledכָשְׁלָה֙kha.she.LahH3782and Judahוִיהוּדָ֖הvi.hu.DahH3063has fallenנָפָ֑לna.FalH5307,BecauseH3588theirspeechלְשׁוֹנָ֤םle.sho.NamH3956and their actionsוּמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶם֙u.ma.'a.lei.HemH4611are againstאֶל־'el-H413the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, Torebelלַמְר֖וֹתlam.RotH4784againstHis gloriousכְבוֹדֽוֹ׃khe.vo.DoH3519presenceעֵנֵ֥י'e.NeiH5869.

9The expressionהַכָּרַ֤תha.ka.RatH1971of their facesפְּנֵיהֶם֙pe.nei.HemH6440testifiesעָ֣נְתָה'A.ne.tahH6030against them, And theydisplayהִגִּ֖ידוּhi.Gi.duH5046their sinוְחַטָּאתָ֛םve.cha.ta.TamH2403likeSodomכִּסְדֹ֥םkis.DomH5467; They do not evenconcealכִחֵ֑דוּkhi.Che.duH3582it.Woeא֣וֹי'oH188to them! For they havedoneגָמְל֥וּga.me.LuH1580evilH7463to themselves.

10Sayאִמְר֥וּ'im.RuH559to therighteousצַדִּ֖יקtza.DikH6662that it will gowellט֑וֹבTovH2895for them,For they will eatיֹאכֵֽלוּ׃yo.Khe.luH398the fruitפְרִ֥יfe.RiH6529of their actionsמַעַלְלֵיהֶ֖םma.'a.lei.HemH4611.

11Woeא֖וֹי'oH188to the wickedלְרָשָׁ֣עle.ra.Sha'H7563! It will gobadlyH7451for him, ForwhatH1576 H3027he deservesH1576 H3027will be doneיֵעָ֥שֶׂהye.'A.sehH6213to him.

14The Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068entersיָב֔וֹאya.Vo'H935into judgmentבְּמִשְׁפָּ֣טbe.mish.PatH4941with the eldersזִקְנֵ֥יzik.NeiH2205and leadersוְשָׂרָ֑יוve.sa.RavH8269of His peopleעַמּ֖וֹa.MoH5971, “It is you who havedevouredבִּֽעַרְתֶּ֣םbi.'ar.TemH1197the vineyardהַכֶּ֔רֶםha.Ke.remH3754; ThegoodsH1500stolenH1500from the poorהֶֽעָנִ֖יhe.'a.NiH6041are in your housesבְּבָתֵּיכֶֽם׃be.va.tei.KhemH1004.

15Whatמַה־לָּכֶם֙mah-la.khemH4100do you mean bycrushingתְּדַכְּא֣וּte.da.ke.'UH1792My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971Andoppressingתִּטְחָ֑נוּtit.Cha.nuH2912the faceוּפְנֵ֥יu.fe.NeiH6440of the poorעֲנִיִּ֖ים'a.ni.YimH6041?”Declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068of armiesצְבָאֽוֹת׃ סtze.va.'otH6635.

16Moreover, the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Becauseיַ֚עַן כִּ֤יYa.'an kiH3282 H3588thedaughtersבְּנ֣וֹתbe.NotH1323of Zionצִיּ֔וֹןtzi.YonH6726areH1361haughtyגָֽבְהוּ֙ga.ve.HuH1361And walkH1980withheadsגָּר֔וֹןga.RonH1627heldH5186highH5186and seductiveוּֽמְשַׂקְּר֖וֹתu.me.sa.ke.RotH8265eyesעֵינָ֑יִם'ei.Na.yimH5869,And goH1980along with mincingH2952stepsH2952And jingleH5913theH5913ankletsH5913on their feetוּבְרַגְלֵיהֶ֖םu.ve.rag.lei.HemH7272,

17The Lordאֲדֹנָ֔י'a.do.NaiH136will afflictH8197the scalpקָדְקֹ֖דka.de.KodH6936of the daughtersבְּנ֣וֹתbe.NotH1323of Zionצִיּ֑וֹןtzi.YonH6726withH8197scabsH8197,And the Lordוַיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068will makeH6168their foreheadsפָּתְהֵ֥ןpa.te.HenH6596bareיְעָרֶֽה׃ סye.'a.RehH6168.”

18On that dayבַּיּ֨וֹםbai.YomH3117the Lordאֲדֹנָ֗י'a.do.NaiH136will takeH5493awayH5493the beautyתִּפְאֶ֧רֶתtif.'E.retH8597of theirankletsהָעֲכָסִ֛יםha.'a.kha.SimH5914,headbandsוְהַשְּׁבִיסִ֖יםve.ha.she.vi.SimH7636,crescentH7720ornamentsוְהַשַּׂהֲרֹנִֽים׃ve.ha.sa.ha.ro.NimH7720,
