1Beholdהִנֵּ֧הhi.NehH2009,the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068laysבּוֹקֵ֥קbo.KekH1238the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776wasteH1238,devastatesוּבֽוֹלְקָ֑הּu.Vol.KahH1110it, twistsוְעִוָּ֣הve.'i.VahH5753its surfaceפָנֶ֔יהָfa.Nei.haH6440,and scattersוְהֵפִ֖יץve.he.FitzH6327its inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃yo.she.Vei.haH3427.

2And the peopleכָעָם֙kha.'AmH5971will be like the priestכַּכֹּהֵ֔ןka.ko.HenH3548,the servantכַּעֶ֙בֶד֙ka.'E.vedH5650like his masterכַּֽאדֹנָ֔יוka.do.NavH113,the femaleH8198servantH8198like her mistressכַּגְּבִרְתָּ֑הּka.ge.vir.TahH1404,the buyerכַּקּוֹנֶה֙ka.ko.NehH7069like the sellerכַּמּוֹכֵ֔רka.mo.KherH4376,the lenderכַּמַּלְוֶה֙ka.mal.VehH3867like the borrowerכַּלֹּוֶ֔הka.lo.VehH3867, thecreditorכַּנֹּשֶׁ֕הka.no.ShehH5383like the debtorH5377.

5The earthוְהָאָ֥רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776is alsodefiledחָנְפָ֖הcha.ne.FahH2610by its inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָyo.she.Vei.haH3427,for they violatedעָבְר֤וּ'a.ve.RuH5674lawsתוֹרֹת֙to.RotH8451,alteredחָ֣לְפוּChal.fuH2498statutesחֹ֔קChokH2706, andbrokeהֵפֵ֖רוּhe.Fe.ruH6565the everlastingעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285.

15Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֥ן'al- kenH5921 H3651glorifyכַּבְּד֣וּka.be.DuH3513the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068in theeastH747, Thenameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478, In thecoastlandsבְּאִיֵּ֣יbe.'i.YeiH339of the seaהַיָּ֔םhai.YamH3220.

16From theendsמִכְּנַ֨ףmi.ke.NafH3671of the earthהָאָ֜רֶץha.'A.retzH776we hearשָׁמַ֙עְנוּ֙sha.Ma'.nuH8085songsזְמִרֹ֤תze.mi.RotH2158: “Gloryצְבִ֣יtze.ViH6643to the Righteousלַצַּדִּ֔יקla.tza.DikH6662OneH6662,”But I sayוָאֹמַ֛רva.'o.MarH559, “I am finishedרָזִי־ra.zi-H7334!I am finishedרָֽזִי־ra.zi-H7334!Woeא֣וֹי'oH188to me! 20The earthאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776tremblesH5128like a heavyH7910drinkerH7910And swaysוְהִֽתְנוֹדְדָ֖הve.hit.no.DahH5110like a hutכַּמְּלוּנָ֑הka.me.lu.NahH4412, For itswrongdoingפִּשְׁעָ֔הּpish.'AhH6588isH3513heavyוְכָבַ֤דve.kha.VadH3513upon it,And it will fallוְנָפְלָ֖הve.na.fe.LahH5307,neverוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808to riseקֽוּם׃ סKumH6965againתֹסִ֥יףto.SifH3254.
