4The Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068has givenנָ֤תַןNa.tanH5414Me the tongueלְשׁ֣וֹןle.ShonH3956ofdisciplesלִמּוּדִ֔יםli.mu.DimH3928,So that I may knowלָדַ֛עַתla.Da.'atH3045how tosustainלָע֥וּתla.'UtH5790the wearyיָעֵ֖ףya.'EfH3287oneH3287with a wordדָּבָ֑רda.VarH1697.He awakensיָעִ֣יר׀ya.'IrH5782Memorningבַּבֹּ֣קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242by morningבַּבֹּ֗קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242,He awakensיָעִ֥ירya.'IrH5782My earאֹ֔זֶן'O.zenH241to listenלִשְׁמֹ֖עַlish.Mo.a'H8085as a discipleכַּלִּמּוּדִֽים׃ka.li.mu.DimH3928.

6Igaveנָתַ֣תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414My backגֵּוִי֙ge.ViH1460to those who strikeלְמַכִּ֔יםle.ma.KimH5221Me,And My cheeksוּלְחָיַ֖יu.le.cha.YaiH3895to those who pullH4803outH4803My beardH4803;I did not hideהִסְתַּ֔רְתִּיhis.Tar.tiH5641My faceפָּנַי֙pa.NaiH6440from insultsמִכְּלִמּ֖וֹתmi.ke.li.MotH3639and spittingוָרֹֽק׃va.RokH7536.

7For the Lordוַאדֹנָ֤יva.do.NaiH136 GodH3068helpsיַֽעֲזָר־ya.'a.zor-H5826Me,Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֖ן'al- kenH5921 H3651, I amnot disgracedנִכְלָ֑מְתִּיnikh.La.me.tiH3637;Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֞ן'al- kenH5921 H3651,I have madeשַׂ֤מְתִּיSam.tiH7760My faceפָנַי֙fa.NaiH6440likeflintכַּֽחַלָּמִ֔ישׁka.cha.la.MishH2496,And I knowוָאֵדַ֖עva.'e.Da'H3045that I will not beH954ashamedH954.

8He whovindicatesמַצְדִּיקִ֔יmatz.di.KiH6663Me is nearקָרוֹב֙ka.rOvH7138;Whoמִֽי־mi-H4310will contendיָרִ֥יבya.RivH7378with Me? Let usstandנַ֣עַמְדָהNa.'am.dahH5975up to eachH3162otherH3162.Whoמִֽי־mi-H4310hasבַ֥עַלVa.'alH1167a caseמִשְׁפָּטִ֖יmish.pa.TiH4941against Me?Let him approachיִגַּ֥שׁyi.GashH5066Me.

9Beholdהֵ֣ןhenH2005,the Lordאֲדֹנָ֤י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068helpsיַֽעֲזָר־ya.'a.zor-H5826Me;Whoמִי־mi-H4310is he who condemnsיַרְשִׁיעֵ֑נִיyar.shi.'E.niH7561Me?Beholdהֵ֤ןhenH2005,they will allכֻּלָּם֙ku.LamH3605wearיִבְל֔וּyiv.LuH1086outH1086like a garmentכַּבֶּ֣גֶדka.Be.gedH899;A mothעָ֖שׁ'ashH6211will eatיֹאכְלֵֽם׃yo.khe.LemH398them.
