1The wordהַדָּבָר֙ha.da.VarH1697whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834Isaiahיְשַֽׁעְיָ֖הוּye.sha'.Ya.huH3470the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Amozאָמ֑וֹץ'a.MotzH531sawחָזָ֔הcha.ZahH2372concerningעַל־'al-H5921Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063and Jerusalemוִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃vi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

2Now it will comeוְהָיָ֣ה׀ve.ha.YahH1961aboutיִֽהְיֶ֜הyih.YehH1961thatIn the lastבְּאַחֲרִ֣יתbe.'a.cha.RitH319daysהַיָּמִ֗יםhai.ya.MimH3117Themountainהַ֤רharH2022of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Will be establishedנָכ֨וֹןna.KhonH3559as the chiefבְּרֹ֣אשׁbe.RoshH7218of the mountainsהֶהָרִ֔יםhe.ha.RimH2022,And will be raisedוְנִשָּׂ֖אve.ni.Sa'H5375aboveH4480the hillsמִגְּבָע֑וֹתmi.ge.va.'otH1389; Andallכָּל־kol-H3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִֽם׃ha.go.YimH1471will streamוְנָהֲר֥וּve.na.ha.RuH5102to it.

3And manyרַבִּ֗יםra.BimH7227peoplesעַמִּ֣ים'a.MimH5971will comeוְֽהָלְכ֞וּve.ha.le.KhuH1980and sayוְאָמְרוּ֙ve.'a.me.RuH559, “Comeלְכ֣וּ׀le.KhuH1980,let’s goוְנַעֲלֶ֣הve.na.'a.LehH5927upH5927to the mountainהַר־har-H2022of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,To the houseבֵּית֙beitH1004of the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290;So that He may teachוְיֹרֵ֙נוּ֙ve.yo.Re.nuH3384usaboutH4480His waysמִדְּרָכָ֔יוmi.de.ra.KhavH1870,And that we may walkוְנֵלְכָ֖הve.ne.le.KhahH1980in His pathsבְּאֹרְחֹתָ֑יוbe.'o.re.cho.TavH734.” Forthe lawתוֹרָ֔הto.RahH8451will goתֵּצֵ֣אte.Tze'H3318outH3318from Zionמִצִּיּוֹן֙mi.tzi.yOnH6726And the wordוּדְבַר־u.de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068from Jerusalemמִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃mi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

4And He will judgeוְשָׁפַט֙ve.sha.FatH8199betweenבֵּ֣יןbeinH996the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471,And will mediateוְהוֹכִ֖יחַve.ho.Khi.achH3198for manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227peoplesלְעַמִּ֣יםle.'a.MimH5971; Andthey will beatוְכִתְּת֨וּve.khi.te.TuH3807their swordsחַרְבוֹתָ֜םchar.vo.TamH2719into plowsharesלְאִתִּ֗יםle.'i.TimH855,and their spearsוַחֲנִיתֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙va.cha.ni.to.tei.HemH2595into pruningH4211knivesH4211.Nationג֤וֹיGoyH1471will not liftיִשָּׂ֨אyi.Sa'H5375upH5375a swordחֶ֔רֶבChe.revH2719againstאֶל־'el-H413nationגּוֹי֙goyH1471,And neverH3808againע֖וֹדodH5750will they learnיִלְמְד֥וּyil.me.DuH3925warמִלְחָמָֽה׃ פmil.cha.MahH4421.

5Comeלְכ֥וּle.KhuH1980,houseבֵּ֖יתbeitH1004of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290,and let’s walkוְנֵלְכָ֖הve.ne.le.KhahH1980in thelightבְּא֥וֹרbe.'orH216of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

6For You haveabandonedנָטַ֗שְׁתָּהna.Tash.tahH5203Your peopleעַמְּךָ֙'a.me.KhaH5971,the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290,BecauseH3588they are filledמָלְאוּ֙mal.'UH4390with influencesfrom the eastמִקֶּ֔דֶםmi.Ke.demH6924, And they aresoothsayersוְעֹֽנְנִ֖יםve.'o.ne.NimH6049like the Philistinesכַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑יםka.pe.lish.TimH6430. They alsostrikeיַשְׂפִּֽיקוּ׃yas.Pi.kuH5606bargainswith the childrenוּבְיַלְדֵ֥יu.ve.yal.DeiH3206of foreignersנָכְרִ֖יםna.khe.RimH5237.

7Their landאַרְצוֹ֙'ar.TzoH776has also been filledוַתִּמָּלֵ֤אva.ti.ma.Le'H4390with silverכֶּ֣סֶףKe.sefH3701and goldוְזָהָ֔בve.za.HavH2091And thereH369isH369noH369endקֵ֖צֶהKe.tzehH7097to their treasuresלְאֹצְרֹתָ֑יוle.'o.tze.ro.TavH214;Their landאַרְצוֹ֙'ar.TzoH776has also been filledוַתִּמָּלֵ֤אva.ti.ma.Le'H4390withhorsesסוּסִ֔יםsu.SimH5483,And thereH369isH369noH369endקֵ֖צֶהKe.tzehH7097to their chariotsלְמַרְכְּבֹתָֽיו׃le.mar.ke.vo.TavH4818.

8Their landאַרְצ֖וֹ'ar.TzoH776has also beenfilledוַתִּמָּלֵ֥אva.ti.ma.Le'H4390with idolsאֱלִילִ֑ים'e.li.LimH457;They worshipH2331theworkלְמַעֲשֵׂ֤הle.ma.'a.SehH4639of their handsיָדָיו֙ya.DavH3027,That whichלַאֲשֶׁ֥רla.'a.SherH834their fingersאֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃'etz.be.'o.TavH676have madeעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213.

9So the commonpersonאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120has beenH7817humbledH7817And thepersonאִ֑ישׁ'IshH376of importancehas been broughtH8213lowוַיִּשְׁפַּל־vai.yish.pal-H8213, Butdo not forgiveתִּשָּׂ֖אti.Sa'H5375them.

10Enterבּ֣וֹאBo'H935the rockyבַצּ֔וּרva.TzurH6697placeand hideוְהִטָּמֵ֖ןve.hi.ta.MenH2934in the dustבֶּֽעָפָ֑רbe.'a.FarH6083From the terrorפַּ֣חַדPa.chadH6343of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068and from the splendorוּמֵהֲדַ֖רu.me.ha.DarH1926of His majestyגְּאֹנֽוֹ׃ge.'o.NoH1347.

11Theproudגַּבְה֤וּתgav.HutH1365lookעֵינֵ֞י'ei.NeiH5869of humanityאָדָם֙'a.DamH120will be broughtH8213lowשָׁפֵ֔לsha.FelH8213, And thearroganceר֣וּםrumH7312of peopleH376will be humbledוְשַׁ֖חve.ShachH7817;And the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068aloneלְבַדּ֖וֹle.va.DoH905will be exaltedוְנִשְׂגַּ֧בve.nis.GavH7682on that dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117.

A Day of Reckoning Coming

12For the Lordלַיהוָ֧הla.Yah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֛וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will have a dayי֞וֹםYomH3117of reckoningAgainstעַ֥ל'alH5921everyoneכָּל־kol-H3605who is arrogantגֵּאֶ֖הge.'EhH1343and haughtyוָרָ֑םva.RamH7311,And againstוְעַ֖לve.'AlH5921everyoneכָּל־kol-H3605who is liftedנִשָּׂ֥אni.Sa'H5375upH5375,That he may be broughtH8213lowוְשָׁפֵֽל׃ve.sha.FelH8213.

13And it will beagainstוְעַל֙ve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the cedarsאַרְזֵ֣י'ar.ZeiH730of Lebanonהַלְּבָנ֔וֹןha.le.va.NonH3844that are loftyהָרָמִ֖יםha.ra.MimH7311and liftedוְהַנִּשָּׂאִ֑יםve.han.ni.sa.'ImH5375upH5375,Againstוְעַ֖לve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605theoaksאַלּוֹנֵ֥י'a.lo.NeiH437of Bashanהַבָּשָֽׁן׃ha.ba.ShanH1316,

17And the prideגַּבְה֣וּתgav.HutH1365of humanityהָאָדָ֔םha.'a.DamH120will be humbledוְשַׁח֙ve.ShachH7817And the arroganceר֣וּםrumH7312of peopleH376will be broughtH8213lowוְשָׁפֵ֖לve.sha.FelH8213;And the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068aloneלְבַדּ֖וֹle.va.DoH905will be exaltedוְנִשְׂגַּ֧בve.nis.GavH7682on that dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117,

18And theidolsוְהָאֱלִילִ֖יםve.ha.'e.li.LimH457will completelyכָּלִ֥ילka.LilH3632vanishיַחֲלֹֽף׃ya.cha.LofH2498.

19People willgoוּבָ֙אוּ֙u.Va.'uH935into cavesבִּמְעָר֣וֹתbim.'a.RotH4631of the rocksצֻרִ֔יםtzu.RimH6697And into holesוּבִמְחִלּ֖וֹתu.vim.chi.LotH4247in thegroundעָפָ֑ר'a.FarH6083Awayמִפְּנֵ֞יmi.pe.NeiH4480 H6440from the terrorפַּ֤חַדPa.chadH6343of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068And the splendorוּמֵהֲדַ֣רu.me.ha.DarH1926of His majestyגְּאוֹנ֔וֹge.'o.NoH1347,When He arisesבְּקוּמ֖וֹbe.ku.MoH6965to terrifyלַעֲרֹ֥ץla.'a.RotzH6206the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

20On that dayבַּיּ֤וֹםbai.YomH3117peopleהָאָדָ֔םha.'a.DamH120willthrowיַשְׁלִ֣יךְyash.LikhH7993awayH7993to the molesH2663and thebatsוְלָעֲטַלֵּפִֽים׃ve.la.'a.ta.le.FimH5847Their idolsאֱלִילֵ֣י'e.li.LeiH457of silverכַסְפּ֔וֹkhas.PoH3701and their idolsאֱלִילֵ֣י'e.li.LeiH457of goldזְהָב֑וֹze.ha.VoH2091,Whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834they madeעָֽשׂוּ־'a.su-H6213for themselves to worshipH2331,
