2For You have turnedשַׂ֤מְתָּSam.taH7760a cityמֵעִיר֙me.'IrH5892into aheapלַגָּ֔לla.GalH1530, Afortifiedבְצוּרָ֖הve.tzu.RahH1219cityקִרְיָ֥הkir.YahH7151into a ruinלְמַפֵּלָ֑הle.ma.pe.LahH4654; Apalaceאַרְמ֤וֹן'ar.MonH759of strangersזָרִים֙za.RimH2114is noH4480longerH4480a cityמֵעִ֔ירme.'IrH5892,It will neverלְעוֹלָ֖ם לֹ֥אle.'o.Lam lo'H5769 H3808be rebuiltיִבָּנֶֽה׃yi.ba.NehH1129.

3Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֖ן'al- kenH5921 H3651a strongעָ֑ז'AzH5794peopleעַם־'am-H5971willglorifyיְכַבְּד֣וּךָye.kha.be.Du.khaH3513You;Citiesקִרְיַ֛תkir.YatH7151of ruthlessעָרִיצִ֖ים'a.ri.TzimH6184nationsגּוֹיִ֥םgo.YimH1471will revereיִירָאֽוּךָ׃yi.ra.'U.khaH3372You.

4For You have beenהָיִ֨יתָha.Yi.taH1961astrongholdמָע֥וֹזma.'ozH4581for the helplessלַדָּ֛לla.DalH1800,A strongholdמָע֥וֹזma.'ozH4581for the poorלָאֶבְי֖וֹןla.'ev.YonH34in his distressבַּצַּר־ba.tzar-H6862, Arefugeמַחְסֶ֤הmach.SehH4268from the stormמִזֶּ֙רֶם֙mi.Ze.remH2230,a shadeצֵ֣לtzelH6738from the heatמֵחֹ֔רֶבme.Cho.revH2721;For the breathר֥וּחַRu.achH7307of theruthlessעָרִיצִ֖ים'a.ri.TzimH6184Is like a rainstormכְּזֶ֥רֶםke.Ze.remH2230againsta wallקִֽיר׃KirH7023.

5Like heatכְּחֹ֣רֶבke.Cho.revH2721in a dryבְּצָי֔וֹןbe.tza.YonH6724landH6724,You subdueתַּכְנִ֑יעַtakh.Ni.a'H3665theuproarשְׁא֥וֹןshe.'onH7588of foreignersזָרִ֖יםza.RimH2114; Likeheatחֹ֚רֶבCho.revH2721by the shadowבְּצֵ֣לbe.TzelH6738of a cloudעָ֔ב'AvH5645,the songזְמִ֥ירze.MirH2158of the ruthlessעָֽרִיצִ֖ים'a.ri.TzimH6184issilencedיַעֲנֶֽה׃ פya.'a.NehH6031.

6Now the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֜וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will prepareוְעָשָׂה֩ve.'a.SahH6213alavishשְׁמָנִ֖יםshe.ma.NimH8081banquetמִשְׁתֵּ֥הmish.TehH4960forallלְכָל־le.kholH3605peoplesהָֽעַמִּים֙ha.'a.MimH5971on thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088mountainבָּהָ֣רba.HarH2022;A banquetמִשְׁתֵּ֣הmish.TehH4960ofagedH8105wineH8105,choiceשְׁמָנִים֙she.ma.NimH8081pieces with marrowמְמֻ֣חָיִ֔םme.Mu.cha.YimH4229, Andrefinedמְזֻקָּקִֽים׃me.zu.ka.KimH2212,agedH8105wineH8105.

7And on thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088mountainבָּהָ֣רba.HarH2022He will destroyוּבִלַּע֙u.vi.La'H1104thecoveringפְּנֵֽי־ הַלּ֥וֹט׀pe.nei- ha.LotH6440 H3875which is overעַל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605peoplesהָֽעַמִּ֑יםha.'a.MimH5971,The veilוְהַמַּסֵּכָ֥הve.ham.ma.se.KhahH4541which isstretchedהַנְּסוּכָ֖הha.ne.su.KhahH5259overעַל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605nationsהַגּוֹיִֽם׃ha.go.YimH1471.

8He willswallowבִּלַּ֤עbi.La'H1104upH1104deathהַמָּ֙וֶת֙ha.Ma.vetH4194for allH5331timeH5331,And the Lordאֲדֹנָ֧י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068willwipeוּמָחָ֨הu.ma.ChahH4229tearsדִּמְעָ֖הdim.'AhH1832awayH4229from allכָּל־kol-H3605facesפָּנִ֑יםpa.NimH6440,And He will removeיָסִיר֙ya.SirH5493thedisgraceוְחֶרְפַּ֣תve.cher.PatH2781of His peopleעַמּ֗וֹa.MoH5971from allכָּל־kol-H3605the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776;For the LordH3068has spokenדִּבֵּֽר׃ פdi.BerH1696.

9And it will be saidוְאָמַר֙ve.'a.MarH559on that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117, “Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,thisזֶ֛הzehH2088is our Godאֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430for whom we havewaitedקִוִּ֥ינוּki.Vi.nuH6960thatHe might saveוְיֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נוּve.yo.shi.'E.nuH3467us.Thisזֶ֤הzehH2088is the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068for whom we have waitedקִוִּ֣ינוּki.Vi.nuH6960;Let’s rejoiceנָגִ֥ילָהna.Gi.lahH1523and beH8055gladH8055in His salvationבִּישׁוּעָתֽוֹ׃bi.shu.'a.ToH3444.”

10For the handיַד־yad-H3027of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068will restתָנ֥וּחַta.Nu.achH5117on thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088mountainבָּהָ֣רba.HarH2022, AndMoabמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124will be trampledH1758downוְנָ֤דוֹשׁve.Na.do.oshH1758inH8478his placeתַּחְתָּ֔יוtach.TavH8478As strawמַתְבֵּ֖ןmat.BenH4963is trampledH1758downכְּהִדּ֥וּשׁke.hi.DushH1758in the waterH4325of a manureH4087pileH4087.

11And he willspreadוּפֵרַ֤שׂu.fe.RasH6566outH6566his handsיָדָיו֙ya.DavH3027in the middleבְּקִרְבּ֔וֹbe.kir.BoH7130of itAs a swimmerהַשֹּׂחֶ֖הha.so.ChehH7811spreadsיְפָרֵ֥שׂye.fa.ResH6566outH6566his handsto swimלִשְׂח֑וֹתlis.ChotH7811, But the Lord willlayH8213lowוְהִשְׁפִּיל֙ve.hish.PilH8213his prideגַּֽאֲוָת֔וֹga.'a.va.ToH1346togetherH5973withH5973the trickeryאָרְבּ֥וֹת'a.re.BotH698of his handsיָדָֽיו׃ya.DavH3027.
