1“Listenשִׁמְע֥וּshim.'UH8085to Me, you whopursueרֹ֥דְפֵיRo.de.feiH7291righteousnessצֶ֖דֶקTze.dekH6664,Who seekמְבַקְשֵׁ֣יme.vak.SheiH1245the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:Lookהַבִּ֙יטוּ֙ha.Bi.tuH5027to therockצ֣וּרtzurH6697from which you were cutחֻצַּבְתֶּ֔םchu.tzav.TemH2672, And to thequarryמַקֶּ֥בֶת בּ֖וֹרma.Ke.vet BorH953 H4718from which you were dugנֻקַּרְתֶּֽם׃nu.kar.TemH5365.

2Lookהַבִּ֙יטוּ֙ha.Bi.tuH5027toAbrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם'av.ra.HamH85your fatherאֲבִיכֶ֔ם'a.vi.KhemH1And to Sarahשָׂרָ֖הsa.RahH8283who gaveH2342birthתְּחוֹלֶלְכֶ֑םte.cho.lel.KhemH2342to you inH2342painH2342;Whenכִּי־ki-H3588he was onlyoneאֶחָ֣ד'e.ChadH259I calledקְרָאתִ֔יוke.ra.TivH7121him,Then I blessedוַאֲבָרְכֵ֖הוּva.'a.va.re.Khe.huH1288him and multipliedוְאַרְבֵּֽהוּ׃ סve.'ar.Be.huH7235him.”

3Indeedכִּֽי־ki-H3588,the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068will comfortנִחַ֨םni.ChamH5162Zionצִיּ֗וֹןtzi.YonH6726;He will comfortנִחַם֙ni.ChamH5162allכָּל־kol-H3605herruinsחָרְבֹתֶ֔יהָcha.re.vo.Tei.haH2723.And He will makeוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760herwildernessמִדְבָּרָהּ֙mid.ba.RahH4057likeEdenכְּעֵ֔דֶןke.'E.denH5731,And her desertוְעַרְבָתָ֖הּve.'ar.va.TahH6160like thegardenכְּגַן־ke.gan-H1588of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.Joyשָׂשׂ֤וֹןsa.SonH8342and gladnessוְשִׂמְחָה֙ve.sim.ChahH8057will be foundיִמָּ֣צֵאyi.Ma.tze'H4672in her,Thanksgivingתּוֹדָ֖הto.DahH8426and the soundוְק֥וֹלve.KolH6963of a melodyזִמְרָֽה׃ סzim.RahH2172.

4“Payהַקְשִׁ֤יבוּhak.Shi.vuH7181attentionH7181to Me, My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971,And listenהַאֲזִ֑ינוּha.'a.Zi.nuH238to Me, Mynationוּלְאוּמִּ֖יu.le.'u.MiH3816; For alawתוֹרָה֙to.RahH8451will goתֵצֵ֔אte.Tze'H3318outH3318from Me,And I will bringאַרְגִּֽיעַ׃'ar.Gi.a'H7280Myjusticeוּמִשְׁפָּטִ֔יu.mish.pa.TiH4941as alightלְא֥וֹרle.'orH216of the peoplesעַמִּ֖ים'a.MimH5971.

5Myrighteousnessצִדְקִי֙tzid.KiH6664is nearקָר֤וֹבka.RovH7138,My salvationיִשְׁעִ֔יyish.'IH3468has goneH3318forthH3318, And Myarmsוּזְרֹעַ֖יu.ze.ro.'AiH2220will judgeיִשְׁפֹּ֑טוּyish.Po.tuH8199the peoplesעַמִּ֣ים'a.MimH5971; Thecoastlandsאִיִּ֣ים'i.YimH339will waitיְקַוּ֔וּye.ka.VuH6960for Me,And they will waitH3176expectantlyH3176for Myarmזְרֹעִ֖יze.ro.'IH2220.

6Raiseשְׂאוּ֩se.'UH5375your eyesעֵֽינֵיכֶ֜ם'ei.nei.KhemH5869to the skyלַשָּׁמַ֨יִםla.sha.Ma.yimH8064,Then lookוְֽהַבִּ֧יטוּve.ha.Bi.tuH5027to the earthהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776beneathמִתַּ֗חַתmi.Ta.chatH4480 H8478; For theskyשָׁמַ֜יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064will vanishנִמְלָ֙חוּ֙nim.La.chuH4414like smokeכֶּעָשָׁ֤ןke.'a.ShanH6227, And theearthוְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ve.ha.'A.retzH776will wearתִּבְלֶ֔הtiv.LehH1086outH1086like a garmentכַּבֶּ֣גֶדka.Be.gedH899And its inhabitantsוְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָve.yo.she.Vei.haH3427will dieיְמוּת֑וּןye.mu.TunH4191in the sameכְּמוֹ־ke.mov-H3644wayH3651. But Mysalvationוִישֽׁוּעָתִי֙vi.shu.'a.TiH3444will be foreverלְעוֹלָ֣םle.'o.LamH5769,And My righteousnessוְצִדְקָתִ֖יve.tzid.ka.TiH6666will not failתֵחָֽת׃ סte.ChatH2865.

7Listenשִׁמְע֤וּshim.'UH8085to Me, you who knowיֹ֣דְעֵיYo.de.'eiH3045righteousnessצֶ֔דֶקTze.dekH6664,A peopleעַ֖ם'amH5971in whoseheartבְלִבָּ֑םve.li.BamH3820is My Lawתּוֹרָתִ֣יto.ra.TiH8451;Do not fearתִּֽירְאוּ֙ti.re.'UH3372thetauntingחֶרְפַּ֣תcher.PatH2781ofpeopleאֱנ֔וֹשׁ'e.No.oshH582,NorH408be terrifiedתֵּחָֽתּוּ׃te.Cha.tuH2865of their abusesוּמִגִּדֻּפֹתָ֖םu.mi.gi.du.fo.TamH1421.

8For themothעָ֔שׁ'AshH6211will eatיֹאכְלֵ֣םyokh.LemH398them like a garmentכַבֶּ֙גֶד֙kha.Be.gedH899; Yes, themothסָ֑סSasH5580will eatיֹאכְלֵ֣םyokh.LemH398them like woolוְכַצֶּ֖מֶרve.kha.Tze.merH6785. But Myrighteousnessוְצִדְקָתִי֙ve.tzid.ka.TiH6666will be foreverלְעוֹלָ֣םle.'o.LamH5769,And My salvationוִישׁוּעָתִ֖יvi.shu.'a.TiH3444to allלְד֥וֹרle.DorH1755generationsדּוֹרִֽים׃ סdo.RimH1755.”

11And theredeemedוּפְדוּיֵ֨יu.fe.du.YeiH6299of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068will returnיְשׁוּב֗וּןye.shu.VunH7725And comeוּבָ֤אוּu.Va.'uH935to Zionצִיּוֹן֙tzi.yOnH6726with joyfulH7440shoutingבְּרִנָּ֔הbe.ri.NahH7440, Andeverlastingעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769joyוְשִׂמְחַ֥תve.sim.ChatH8057will beon their headsרֹאשָׁ֑םro.ShamH7218.They will obtainיַשִּׂיג֔וּןya.si.GunH5381gladnessשָׂשׂ֤וֹןsa.SonH8342and joyוְשִׂמְחָה֙ve.sim.ChahH8057, Andsorrowיָג֥וֹןya.GonH3015and sighingוַאֲנָחָֽה׃ סva.'a.na.ChahH585will fleeנָ֖סוּNa.suH5127awayH5127.

13That you haveforgottenוַתִּשְׁכַּ֞חva.tish.KachH7911the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Makerעֹשֶׂ֗ךָ'o.Se.khaH6213, Whostretchedנוֹטֶ֣הno.TehH5186outH5186the heavensשָׁמַיִם֮sha.ma.YimH8064And laidH3245the foundationsH3245of the earthאָרֶץ֒'a.RetzH776, That youfearוַתְּפַחֵ֨דva.te.fa.ChedH6342continuallyתָּמִ֜ידta.MidH8548allכָּל־kol-H3605dayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117long becauseמִפְּנֵי֙mi.pe.NeiH4480 H6440of the furyחֲמַ֣תcha.MatH2534of the oppressorהַמֵּצִ֔יקha.me.TzikH6693,As he makesH3559readyH3559to destroyלְהַשְׁחִ֑יתle.hash.ChitH7843?And whereוְאַיֵּ֖הve.'ai.YehH346is the rageחֲמַ֥תcha.MatH2534of theoppressorהַמֵּצִֽיק׃ha.me.TzikH6693?

14Theexileצֹעֶ֖הtzo.'EhH6808will soonמִהַ֥רmi.HarH4116be setH6605freeH6605,and will not dieיָמ֣וּתya.MutH4191in thedungeonלַשַּׁ֔חַתla.Sha.chatH7845,norH3808will his breadלַחְמֽוֹ׃lach.MoH3899be lackingיֶחְסַ֖רyech.SarH2637.

15For I am the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430, whostirsרֹגַ֣עro.Ga'H7280up the seaהַיָּ֔םhai.YamH3220so that its wavesגַּלָּ֑יוga.LavH1530roarוַיֶּהֱמ֖וּvai.ye.he.MuH1993(the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635is His nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃she.MoH8034).

16And I haveputוָאָשִׂ֤יםva.'a.SimH7760My wordsדְּבָרַי֙de.va.RaiH1697in your mouthבְּפִ֔יךָbe.Fi.khaH6310and havecoveredכִּסִּיתִ֑יךָki.si.Ti.khaH3680you with the shadowוּבְצֵ֥לu.ve.TzelH6738of My handיָדִ֖יya.DiH3027, toestablishלִנְטֹ֤עַlin.To.a'H5193the heavensשָׁמַ֙יִם֙sha.Ma.yimH8064,to foundוְלִיסֹ֣דve.li.SodH3245the earthאָ֔רֶץ'A.retzH776,and to sayוְלֵאמֹ֥רve.le.MorH559to Zionלְצִיּ֖וֹןle.tzi.YonH6726, ‘You are My peopleעַמִּי־'a.mi-H5971.’”

19Theseהֵ֙נָּה֙he.nahH2007twoשְׁתַּ֤יִםshe.Ta.yimH8147thingsH8147have happenedקֹֽרְאֹתַ֔יִךְko.re.'o.Ta.yikhH7122to you;Whoמִ֖יmiH4310will mournיָנ֣וּדya.NudH5110for you?
