8“But you, Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֣לYis.ra.'ElH3478,My servantעַבְדִּ֔י'av.DiH5650,Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I have chosenבְּחַרְתִּ֑יךָbe.char.Ti.khaH977,Descendantזֶ֖רַעZe.ra'H2233ofAbrahamאַבְרָהָ֥ם'av.ra.HamH85Myfriendאֹהֲבִֽי׃'o.ha.ViH157,

9You whomאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834I havetakenהֶחֱזַקְתִּ֙יךָ֙he.che.zak.Ti.chaH2388from the endsמִקְצ֣וֹתmik.TzotH7098of the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776And calledקְרָאתִ֑יךָke.ra.Ti.chaH7121from itsremotestH678partsH678,And saidוָאֹ֤מַרva.'O.marH559to you, ‘You areMy servantעַבְדִּי־'av.di-H5650, I havechosenבְּחַרְתִּ֖יךָbe.char.Ti.khaH977you and have not rejectedמְאַסְתִּֽיךָ׃me.'as.Ti.khaH3988you.

10Do notfearתִּירָא֙ti.Ra'H3372, for I am with you;Do not beH8159afraidH8159,for I am your Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.I will strengthenאִמַּצְתִּ֙יךָ֙'i.matz.Ti.khaH553you,I will alsoאַף־'af-H637helpעֲזַרְתִּ֔יךָ'a.zar.Ti.khaH5826you,I will alsoאַף־'af-H637upholdתְּמַכְתִּ֖יךָte.makh.Ti.khaH8551you with My righteousצִדְקִֽי׃tzid.KiH6664rightבִּימִ֥יןbi.MinH3225handH3225.’

11Beholdהֵ֤ןhenH2005,allכֹּ֖לkolH3605those who are angeredהַנֶּחֱרִ֣יםha.ne.che.RimH2734at you will be shamedיֵבֹ֙שׁוּ֙ye.Vo.shuH954and dishonoredוְיִכָּ֣לְמ֔וּve.yi.Kal.MuH3637;ThoseH376whoH376contendרִיבֶֽךָ׃ri.Ve.khaH7379with you will be as nothingכְאַ֛יִןkhe.'A.yinH369and will perishוְיֹאבְד֖וּve.yoe.DuH6.

12You will seekתְּבַקְשֵׁם֙te.vak.ShemH1245thoseH376whoH376quarrelמַצֻּתֶ֑ךָma.tzu.Te.khaH4695with you, but will not findתִמְצָאֵ֔םtim.tza.'EmH4672them,ThoseH376whoH376warמִלְחַמְתֶּֽךָ׃mil.cham.Te.khaH4421with you will be as nothingכְאַ֛יִןkhe.'A.yinH369and non-existentוּכְאֶ֖פֶסu.khe.'E.fesH657.

13For I am the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430who takesH2388holdמַחֲזִ֣יקma.cha.ZikH2388of your rightיְמִינֶ֑ךָye.mi.Ne.khaH3225handH3225,Who saysהָאֹמֵ֥רha.'o.MerH559to you, ‘Do not fearתִּירָ֖אti.Ra'H3372,I will helpעֲזַרְתִּֽיךָ׃ ס'a.zar.Ti.khaH5826you.’

14Do not fearתִּֽירְאִי֙ti.re.'IH3372, youwormH8439Jacobיַֽעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290,you peopleמְתֵ֖יme.TeiH4962of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;I will helpעֲזַרְתִּיךְ֙'a.zar.tiKhH5826you,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “and yourRedeemerוְגֹאֲלֵ֖ךְve.go.'a.LekhH1350is the Holyקְד֥וֹשׁke.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

15Beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,I turnedשַׂמְתִּ֗יךְsam.TikhH7760you into a newחָדָ֔שׁcha.DashH2319,sharpחָר֣וּץcha.RutzH2742threshingH4173sledgeH4173with double edgesH6310;You will threshתָּד֤וּשׁta.DushH1758themountainsהָרִים֙ha.RimH2022and pulverizeוְתָדֹ֔קve.ta.DokH1854them,And makeתָּשִֽׂים׃ta.SimH7760the hillsוּגְבָע֖וֹתu.ge.va.'otH1389like chaffכַּמֹּ֥ץka.MotzH4671.

16You willwinnowתִּזְרֵם֙tiz.RemH2219them, and the windוְר֣וּחַve.Ru.achH7307will carryתִּשָּׂאֵ֔םti.sa.'EmH5375them away,And the stormוּסְעָרָ֖הu.se.'a.RahH5591will scatterתָּפִ֣יץta.FitzH6327them; But you willrejoiceתָּגִ֣ילta.GilH1523in the Lordבַּֽיהוָ֔הba.Yah.wehH3068,You will boastתִּתְהַלָּֽל׃ פtit.ha.LalH1984in the Holyבִּקְד֥וֹשׁbik.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478.

17“The poorהָעֲנִיִּ֨יםha.'a.ni.YimH6041and needyוְהָאֶבְיוֹנִ֜יםve.ha.'ev.yo.NimH34are seekingמְבַקְשִׁ֥יםme.vak.ShimH1245waterמַ֙יִם֙ma.yimH4325,but thereH369isH369noneH369,And their tonguesלְשׁוֹנָ֖םle.sho.NamH3956are parchedנָשָׁ֑תָּהna.Sha.tahH5405with thirstבַּצָּמָ֣אba.tza.Ma'H6772.I, the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,will answerאֶעֱנֵ֔ם'e.'e.NemH6030them Myself; Asthe Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478Iwill not abandonאֶעֶזְבֵֽם׃'e.'ez.VemH5800them.

18I will openאֶפְתַּ֤ח'ef.TachH6605riversנְהָר֔וֹתne.ha.RotH5104on the bareשְׁפָיִים֙she.fa.YimH8205heightsH8205,And springsמַעְיָנ֑וֹתma'.ya.NotH4599in the midstוּבְת֥וֹךְu.ve.TokhH8432of the valleysבְּקָע֖וֹתbe.ka.'otH1237;I will makeאָשִׂ֤ים'a.SimH7760the wildernessמִדְבָּר֙mid.BarH4057a poolלַאֲגַם־la.'a.gam-H98of waterמַ֔יִםMa.yimH4325,And the dryצִיָּ֖הtzi.YahH6723landוְאֶ֥רֶץve.'E.retzH776fountainsלְמוֹצָ֥אֵיle.mo.Tza.'eiH4161of waterמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325.

19I will putאֶתֵּ֤ן'e.TenH5414the cedarאֶ֣רֶז'E.rezH730in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּר֙ba.mid.BarH4057,The acaciaשִׁטָּ֔הshi.TahH7848, themyrtleוַהֲדַ֖סva.ha.DasH1918,and the oliveשָׁ֑מֶןSha.menH8081treeH8410;I will placeאָשִׂ֣ים'a.SimH7760thejuniperבְּר֛וֹשׁbe.Ro.oshH1265in the desertבָּעֲרָבָ֗הba.'a.ra.VahH6160,TogetherH3164with the elmתִּדְהָ֥רtid.HarH8410treeH8410and the cypressוּתְאַשּׁ֖וּרu.te.'a.ShurH8391,

20Soלְמַ֧עַןle.Ma.'anH4616thatH4616they may seeיִרְא֣וּyir.'UH7200and recognizeוְיֵדְע֗וּve.ye.de.'UH3045,And considerוְיָשִׂ֤ימוּve.ya.Si.muH7760and gainH7919insightוְיַשְׂכִּ֙ילוּ֙ve.yas.Ki.luH7919asH3164wellH3164, That thehandיַד־yad-H3027of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068has doneעָ֣שְׂתָה'A.se.tahH6213thisH2088,And the Holyוּקְד֥וֹשׁu.ke.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478has createdבְּרָאָֽהּ׃ פbe.ra.'AhH1254it.
