God’s Universal Reign
1The wordH1697 whichH834 1IsaiahH3470 the sonH1121 of AmozH531 sawH2372 concerningH5921 JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389.
2Now it will comeH1961 aboutH1961 that 2In the lastH319 daysH3117 The 3mountainH2022 of the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 Will be establishedH3559 4as the chiefH7218 of the mountainsH2022, And will be raisedH5375 aboveH4480 the hillsH1389; And 5allH3605 the nationsH1471 will streamH5102 to it.3And manyH7227 peoplesH5971 will comeH1980 and sayH559, “ComeH1980, let’s goH5927 upH5927 to the mountainH2022 of the LordH3068, To the houseH1004 of the GodH430 of JacobH3290; So that He may teachH3384 us 6aboutH4480 His waysH1870, And that we may walkH1980 in His pathsH734.” For 7the lawH8451 will goH3318 outH3318 8from ZionH6726 And the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 from JerusalemH3389.4And He will judgeH8199 betweenH996 the nationsH1471, And will mediateH3198 for manyH7227 peoplesH5971; And 9they will beatH3807 their swordsH2719 into plowsharesH855, and their spearsH2595 into pruningH4211 knivesH4211. 10NationH1471 will not liftH5375 upH5375 a swordH2719 againstH413 nationH1471, And neverH3808 againH5750 will they learnH3925 warH4421.
5ComeH1980, 11houseH1004 of JacobH3290, and let’s walkH1980 in the 12lightH216 of the LordH3068.6For You have 13abandonedH5203 Your peopleH5971, the houseH1004 of JacobH3290, BecauseH3588 they are filledH4390 with influences from the eastH6924, And they are soothsayersH6049 14like the PhilistinesH6430. They also 1516strikeH5606 bargains with the childrenH3206 of foreignersH5237.7Their landH776 has also been filledH4390 with silverH3701 and goldH2091 And thereH369 isH369 noH369 endH7097 to their treasuresH214; Their landH776 has also been filledH4390 with 17horsesH5483, And thereH369 isH369 noH369 endH7097 to their chariotsH4818.8Their landH776 has also been 18filledH4390 with idolsH457; They worshipH2331 the 19workH4639 of their handsH3027, That whichH834 their fingersH676 have madeH6213.9So 20the common personH120 has beenH7817 humbledH7817 And the personH376 of importance has been broughtH8213 lowH8213, But 21do not forgiveH5375 them.1022EnterH935 the rockyH6697 place and hideH2934 in the dustH6083 23From the terrorH6343 of the LordH3068 and from the splendorH1926 of His majestyH1347.11The 2425proudH1365 lookH5869 of humanityH120 will be broughtH8213 lowH8213, And the 26arroganceH7312 of peopleH376 will be humbledH7817; And the LordH3068 aloneH905 will be exaltedH7682 on that dayH3117.
