19You knowG3609the commandmentsἐντολὰςentolasG1785, ‘Do not murderφονεύσῃς,phoneusēsG5407,Do not commitμοιχεύσῃς,moicheusēsG3431adulteryG3431,Do not stealκλέψῃς,klepsēsG2813,Do not bearψευδομαρτυρήσῃς,pseudomarturēsēsG5576falseG5576witnessG5576,Do not defraudἀποστερήσῃς,aposterēsēsG650,HonorτίμαtimaG5091your fatherπατέραpateraG3962and motherμητέρα.mēteraG3384.’”
21LookingἐμβλέψαςemblepsasG1689at him, JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424feltG25a loveG25for him and saidG3004to him,“OneἕνhenG1520thingG1520you lackὑστερεῖ·hustereiG5302:goὕπαγε,hupageG5217and sellπώλησονpōlēsonG4453allὅσαhosaG3745you possessἔχειςecheisG2192and giveδὸςdosG1325to the poorπτωχοῖςptōchoisG4434,and you will haveἕξειςhexeisG2192treasureθησαυρὸνthēsauronG2344in heavenοὐρανῷ.ouranōG3772;and comeδεῦρο,deuroG1204,followἀκολούθειakoloutheiG190Me.”
23And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424,lookingπεριβλεψάμενοςperiblepsamenosG4017aroundG4017,saidλέγειlegeiG3004to His disciplesμαθηταῖςmathētaisG3101, “HowπῶςpōsG4459hardδυσκόλωςduskolōsG1423it will be for thoseG3588who are wealthyχρήματαchrēmataG5536to enterεἰσελεύσονται.eiseleusontaiG1525the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932of GodθεοῦtheouG2316!”
24The disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101were amazedἐθαμβοῦντοethambountoG2284at His wordsλόγοιςlogoisG3056.But JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611againπάλινpalinG3825and saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them,“Childrenτέκνα,teknaG5043,howπῶςpōsG4459hardδύσκολόνduskolonG1422it is to enterεἰσελθεῖν.eiseltheinG1525the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932of GodθεοῦtheouG2316!
