2thisG3778manG3778cameἦλθενēlthenG2064to Jesus by nightνυκτὸςnuktosG3571and saidG3004to Him, “Rabbiῥαββί,rhabbiG4461,we knowG3609that You have comeἐλήλυθαςelēluthasG2064from GodθεοῦtheouG2316asa teacherδιδάσκαλος·didaskalosG1320;for noG3762oneοὐδεὶςoudeisG3762canδύναταιdunataiG1410doποιεῖνpoieinG4160theseG3778signsσημεῖαsēmeiaG4592that You doποιεῖς,poieisG4160unlessἐὰν μὴean mēG1437 G3361GodθεὸςtheosG2316is with him.”

6That which is bornγεγεννημένονgegennēmenonG1080of the fleshσαρκὸςsarkosG4561is fleshσάρξsarxG4561,and that which is bornγεγεννημένονgegennēmenonG1080of the SpiritπνεύματοςpneumatosG4151is spiritπνεῦμάpneumaG4151.

7Do not be amazedθαυμάσῃςthaumasēsG2296that I saidG3004to you, ‘You mustδεῖdeiG1163be bornγεννηθῆναιgennēthēnaiG1080againἄνωθεν.anōthenG509.’

8The windπνεῦμαpneumaG4151blowsπνεῖ,pneiG4154whereὅπουhopouG3699it wishesθέλειtheleiG2309and you hearἀκούειςakoueisG191the soundφωνὴνphōnēnG5456of it, but do not knowG3609whereπόθενpothenG4159it comesἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064from and whereποῦpouG4226it is goingὑπάγει·hupageiG5217;soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779is everyoneπᾶςpasG3956who is bornγεγεννημένοςgegennēmenosG1080of the Spiritπνεύματος.¶pneumatosG4151.”

10JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611and saidG3004to him, “Are youthe teacherδιδάσκαλοςdidaskalosG1320of IsraelἸσραὴλIsraēlG2474and do not understandγινώσκεις;ginōskeisG1097theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778?

11TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281,trulyἀμὴνamēnG281,I sayλέγωlegōG3004to you,we speakλαλοῦμενlaloumenG2980of whatὅτιhotiG3754we knowG3609andtestifyG3140of whatG3739we have seenἑωράκαμενhe'ōrakamenG3708, andyou do not acceptλαμβάνετε.lambaneteG2983our testimonyG3140.

14AsMosesΜωϋσῆςMōusēsG3475liftedὕψωσενhupsōsenG5312up the serpentὄφινophinG3789in the wildernessἐρήμῳ,erēmōG2048,even soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779mustδεῖdeiG1163the SonυἱὸνhuionG5207of Manἀνθρώπου,anthrōpouG444be liftedὑψωθῆναιhupsōthēnaiG5312up;

15soἵναinaG2443that whoeverπᾶςpasG3956believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100willin Him haveἔχῃechēG2192eternalαἰώνιον.aiōnionG166lifeζωὴνzōēnG2222.
