Revelation 1:9-19

I JohnG2491, your brotherG80 and fellow-partaker in the tribulationG2347 and kingdomG932 and patience, in JesusG2424, was in the islandG3520 calledG2564 Patmos, for the wordG3056 of 1GodG2316, and for the testimonyG3141 of JesusG2424.

I becameG1096 in [the] SpiritG4151 on the Lord's dayG2250, and I heardG191 behind me a greatG3173 voiceG5456 as of a trumpetG4536,

sayingG3004, What thou seest writeG1125 in a bookG975, and sendG3992 to the sevenG2033 assemblies: to EphesusG2181, and to SmyrnaG4667, and to Pergamos, and to ThyatiraG2363, and to SardisG4554, and to PhiladelphiaG5359, and to LaodiceaG2993.

And I turnedG1994 backG1994 to seeG3708 the voiceG5456 which spokeG2980 with me; and having turnedG1994, I sawG3708 sevenG2033 goldenG5552 lamps,

and in the midstG3319 of the [seven] lamps [one] like [the] SonG5207 of manG444, clothed with a garment reaching to the feet, and girt about at the breastsG3149 with a goldenG5552 girdle:

his headG2776 and hairG2359 whiteG3022 like whiteG3022 woolG2053, as snowG5510; and his eyesG3788 as a flameG5395 of fireG4442;

and his feetG4228 like fine brass, as burningG4448 in a furnaceG2575; and his voiceG5456 as the voiceG5456 of manyG4183 watersG5204;

and having in his rightG1188 handG5495 sevenG2033 starsG792; and out of his mouthG4750 a sharpG3691 two-edged swordG4501 goingG1607 forthG1607; and his countenance as the sunG2246 shinesG5316 in its powerG1411.

And whenG3753 I sawG3708 him I fellG4098 at his feetG4228 as deadG3498; and he laidG5087 his rightG1188 handG1188 upon me, sayingG3004, FearG5399 not; I amG1510 the firstG4413 and the lastG2078,

and the livingG2198 oneG3588: and I becameG1096 deadG3498, and beholdG2400, I amG1510 livingG2198 to the agesG165 of agesG165, and have the keysG2807 of deathG2288 and of hadesG86.

WriteG1125 thereforeG3767 what thou hast seenG3708, and the thingsG3778 that areG1510, and the thingsG3778 that areG1510 about to beG1510 after these.
