Psalms 37:1-9
1FretH2734 not thyself because of evil-doers, and be not envious of them that work unrighteousnessH5766;2for they shall soon be cut down like the grassH2682, and fade as the green herb.3Confide in Jehovah, and do goodH2896; dwellH7931 in the landH776, and feedH7462 on faithfulnessH530;4and delightH6026 thyself in Jehovah, and he will giveH5414 thee the desires of thy heartH3820.5Commit thy wayH1870 unto Jehovah, and relyH982 upon him: he will bring [it] to pass;6and he will bringH3318 forthH3318 thy righteousnessH6664 as the lightH216, and thy judgmentH4941 as the noonday.7Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: fretH2734 not thyself because of him that prospereth in his wayH1870, because of the manH376 that bringeth mischievous devices to pass.8Cease from angerH639, and forsakeH5800 wrathH2534; fretH2734 not thyself: it [would be] onlyH389 to do evilH7489.9For evil-doers shall be cutH3772 off; but those that waitH6960 on Jehovah, they shall possessH3423 the landH776.
