1And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559, 2This is the statuteH2708 of the lawH8451 which Jehovah hath commandedH6680, sayingH559, SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, that they bringH5927 thee a redH122 heiferH6510 without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never cameH5927 yokeH5923. 3And ye shall giveH5414 her unto EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and he shall bringH3318 her forthH3318 without the campH4264, and one shall slay her before his faceH6440: 4and EleazarH499 the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 of her bloodH1818 with his fingerH676, and sprinkle her bloodH1818 toward the front of the tentH168 of meetingH4150 sevenH7651 timesH6471. 5And one shall burnH8313 the heiferH6510 in his sight; her skinH5785, and her fleshH1320, and her bloodH1818, with her dungH6569, shall he burnH8313: 6and the priestH3548 shall takeH3947 cedar-wood, and hyssopH231, and scarletH8144, and castH7993 it into the midstH8432 of the burningH8316 of the heiferH6510. 7Then the priestH3548 shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and he shall batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and afterward he shall comeH935 into the campH4264, and the priestH3548 shall be uncleanH2930 until the even. 8And he that burneth her shall washH3526 his clothesH899 in waterH4325, and batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and shall be uncleanH2930 until the even. 9And a manH376 that is cleanH2889 shall gatherH622 up the ashesH665 of the heiferH6510, and lay them up without the campH4264 in a cleanH2889 placeH4725; and it shall beH1961 keptH4931 for the congregationH5712 of the children of IsraelH3478 for a waterH4325 for impurityH5079: it is a sin-offering. 10And he that gathereth the ashesH665 of the heiferH6510 shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and beH1961 uncleanH2930 until the even: and it shall beH1961 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statuteH2708 for everH5769.

11He that toucheth the deadH4191 body of any manH120 shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117: 12the same shall purifyH2398 himself therewith on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall be cleanH2891: but if he purifyH2398 not himself the thirdH7992 dayH3117, then the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall not be cleanH2891. 13Whosoever toucheth a deadH4191 personH5315, the body of a manH120 that hath diedH4191, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacleH4908 of Jehovah; and that soulH5315 shall beH1961 cutH3772 off from IsraelH3478: because the waterH4325 for impurityH5079 wasH1961 not sprinkledH2236 upon him, he shall beH1961 uncleanH2931; his uncleanness is yetH5750 upon him.

14This is the lawH8451 when a manH120 dieth in a tentH168: every one that cometh into the tentH168, and every one that is in the tentH168, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 15And every openH6605 vesselH3627, which hath no covering bound upon it, is uncleanH2931. 16And whosoever in the open fieldH7704 toucheth one that is slainH2491 with a swordH2719, or a deadH4191 body, or a boneH6106 of a manH120, or a graveH6913, shall be uncleanH2930 sevenH7651 daysH3117. 17And for the uncleanH2931 they shall takeH3947 of the ashes of the burningH8316 of the sin-offering; and running waterH4325 shall be putH5414 thereto in a vesselH3627: 18and a cleanH2889 personH5315 shall takeH3947 hyssopH231, and dipH2881 it in the waterH4325, and sprinkle it upon the tentH168, and upon all the vesselsH3627, and upon the personsH5315 that were there, and upon him that touchedH5060 the boneH6106, or the slainH2491, or the deadH4191, or the graveH6913: 19and the cleanH2889 person shall sprinkle upon the uncleanH2931 on the thirdH7992 dayH3117, and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117: and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117 he shall purifyH2398 him; and he shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and batheH7364 himself in waterH4325, and shall be cleanH2889 at even.

20But the manH376 that shall be uncleanH2931, and shall not purifyH2398 himself, that soulH5315 shall be cutH3772 off from the midstH8432 of the assemblyH6951, because he hath defiledH2930 the sanctuaryH4720 of Jehovah: the waterH4325 for impurityH5079 hath not been sprinkledH2236 upon him; he is uncleanH2931. 21And it shall beH1961 a perpetual statuteH2708 unto them: and he that sprinkleth the waterH4325 for impurityH5079 shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and he that toucheth the waterH4325 for impurityH5079 shall beH1961 uncleanH2930 until even. 22And whatsoever the uncleanH2931 personH5315 toucheth shall be uncleanH2931; and the soulH5315 that toucheth it shall be uncleanH2931 until even.
