Exodus 21:12-21
He that striketh a manH376, so that he dieH4191, shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191.
But if he have not lain in wait, and 1GodH430 have delivered [him] into his handH3027, I will appointH7760 thee a placeH4725 to which he shall fleeH5127.
But if a manH376 actH2102 wantonly toward his neighbour, and slayH2026 him with guile, thou shalt takeH3947 him from mine altarH4196, that he may dieH4191.
And he that striketh his fatherH1, or his motherH517, shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191.
And he that stealeth a manH376, and selleth him, or if he be foundH4672 in his handH3027, he shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191.
And he that curseth his fatherH1, or his motherH517, shall certainlyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191.
And if menH376 dispute, and oneH376 strikeH5221 the other with a stoneH68, or with the fistH106, and he dieH4191 not, but take to [his] bedH4904,
— if he riseH6965, and walkH1980 abroad upon his staffH4938, then shall he that struckH5221 [him] be guiltless; onlyH7535 he shall pay [for] the loss of his time, and shall cause [him] to be thoroughly healedH7495.
And if a manH376 strikeH5221 his bondman or his handmaid with a staffH7626, and he dieH4191 under his handH3027, he shall certainly be avengedH5358.
OnlyH389, if he continue [to live] a dayH3117 or two daysH3117, he shall not be avengedH5358; for he is his moneyH3701.
