Exodus 30
Darby Bible
1And thou shalt makeH6213 an altarH4196 for the burning of incenseH7004: of acacia-wood shalt thou makeH6213 it; 2a cubitH520 the lengthH753 thereof, and a cubitH520 the breadthH7341 thereof — squareH7251 shall it beH1961; and two cubitsH520 its heightH6967; of itself shall beH1961 its hornsH7161. 3And thou shalt overlayH6823 it with pureH2889 goldH2091, the topH1406 thereof, and the sides thereof roundH5439 about, and the hornsH7161 thereof; and thou shalt makeH6213 upon it a border of goldH2091 roundH5439 about. 4And twoH8147 ringsH2885 of goldH2091 shalt thou makeH6213 for it under its border; by its twoH8147 corners shalt thou makeH6213 [them], on the twoH8147 sidesH6654 thereof; and they shall beH1961 for receptacles for the staves, with which to carryH5375 it. 5And thou shalt makeH6213 the staves of acacia-wood, and overlayH6823 them with goldH2091. 6And thou shalt putH5414 it in front of the veil which is before the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715 in front of the mercy-seat which is over the testimonyH5715, whereH834 I will meetH3259 with thee. 7And AaronH175 shall burn thereon fragrant incenseH7004: every morningH1242, when he dresseth the lampsH5216, he shall burn the incenseH7004. 8And when AaronH175 lighteth the lampsH5216 between the two eveningsH6153, he shall burn the incenseH7004 — a continual incenseH7004 before Jehovah throughout your generationsH1755. 9Ye shall offerH5927 up no strangeH2114 incenseH7004 thereon, nor burnt-offering, nor oblation; neither shall ye pourH5258 drink-offering thereon. 10And AaronH175 shall make atonementH3725 for its hornsH7161 once in the yearH8141: with the bloodH1818 of the sin-offering of atonementH3725 shall he make atonementH3725 for it, once in the yearH8141, throughout your generationsH1755: it is most holyH6944 to Jehovah. 11And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 12When thou shalt takeH5375 the sum of the children of IsraelH3478 according to those of them that are numbered, then shall they giveH5414 every manH376 a ransomH3724 for his soulH5315 to Jehovah on their being numbered, that there beH1961 no plagueH5063 among them on their being numbered. 13This shall they giveH5414 — every oneH2088 that passeth among them that are numbered — halfH4276 a shekelH8255 after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944, — twentyH6242 gerahsH1626 the shekelH8255; a halfH4276 shekelH8255 shall be the heave-offering for Jehovah. 14Every one that passeth among those that are numbered, from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 old and above, shall giveH5414 the heave-offering of Jehovah. 15The richH6223 shall not giveH5414 more, and the poorH1800 shall not giveH5414 less than halfH4276 a shekelH8255, when ye giveH5414 the heave-offering of Jehovah, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315. 16And thou shalt takeH3947 the atonement-money of the children of IsraelH3478, and devote it to the serviceH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150; and it shall beH1961 a memorialH2146 to the children of IsraelH3478 before Jehovah, to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315. 17And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 18Thou shalt also makeH5414 a laverH3595 of copperH5178, and its stand of copperH5178, for washingH7364; and thou shalt putH5414 it between the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and the altarH4196, and shalt putH5414 waterH4325 in it. 19And AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 shall washH7364 their handsH3027 and their feetH7272 out of it. 20When they goH935 into the tentH168 of meetingH4150, they shall washH7364 with waterH4325, that they may not dieH4191; or when they comeH935 near to the altarH4196 to serveH8334, to burn an offeringH801 by fireH801 to Jehovah. 21And they shall washH7364 their handsH3027 and their feetH7272, that they may not dieH4191; and it shall beH1961 an everlasting statuteH2706 for them, for him and for his seedH2233 throughout their generationsH1755. 22And Jehovah spokeH1696 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 23And thou, takeH3947 best spicesH1314 — of liquid myrrhH4753 fiveH2568 hundredH3967 [shekels], and of sweet cinnamonH7076 the halfH4276 — two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572, and of sweet myrtle two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572, 24and of cassiaH6916 fiveH2568 hundredH3967, after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944, and of oliveH2132 oilH8081 a hinH1969; 25and makeH6213 of it an oilH8081 of holyH6944 ointment, a perfumeH7545 of perfumery after the workH4639 of the perfumerH7543: it shall beH1961 the holyH6944 anointingH4888 oilH8081. 26And thou shalt anointH4886 the tentH168 of meetingH4150 with it, and the arkH727 of the testimonyH5715, 27and the tableH7979 and all its utensilsH3627, and the lamp-stand and its utensilsH3627, and the altarH4196 of incenseH7004, 28and the altarH4196 of burnt-offering and all its utensilsH3627, and the laverH3595 and its stand. 29And thou shalt hallow them, that they may beH1961 most holyH6944: whatever toucheth them shall beH1961 holyH6944. 30And AaronH175 and his sonsH1121 thou shalt anointH4886, and shalt hallow them, that they may serveH3547 me as priestsH3547. 31And thou shalt speakH1696 to the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, A holyH6944 anointingH4888 oilH8081 shall this beH1961 unto me throughout your generationsH1755. 32Upon man's fleshH1320 shall it not beH1961 poured, neither shall ye makeH6213 [any] like it, after the preparation of it: it is holyH6944 — holyH6944 shall it beH1961 unto you. 33Whoever compoundeth [any] like it, or whoever putteth [any] of it upon any strangeH2114 thing, shall be cutH3772 off from his peoplesH5971. 34And Jehovah saidH559 to MosesH4872, TakeH3947 fragrant drugs — stacte, and onycha, and galbanum — fragrant drugs and pureH2134 frankincenseH3828; in like proportions shall it beH1961. 35And thou shalt makeH6213 it into incenseH7004, a perfumeH7545, after the workH4639 of the perfumerH7543, salted, pureH2889, holyH6944. 36And thou shalt beatH7833 [some] of it to powder, and putH5414 [some] of it before the testimonyH5715 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, whereH834 I will meetH3259 with thee: it shall beH1961 unto you most holyH6944. 37And the incenseH7004 that thou shalt makeH6213, ye shall not makeH6213 for yourselves according to the proportionsH4971 of it; it shall beH1961 unto thee holyH6944 to Jehovah. 38Whoever maketh like unto it, to smellH7306 it, shall be cutH3772 off from his peoplesH5971.
