Samuel 19:8-17
And there wasH1961 warH4421 again; and DavidH1732 wentH3318 forthH3318 and foughtH3898 with the PhilistinesH6430, and smote them with a greatH1419 slaughterH4347; and they fledH5127 before him.
And an evilH7451 spiritH7307 from Jehovah wasH1961 upon SaulH7586. And he satH3427 in his houseH1004 with his spearH2595 in his handH3027; and DavidH1732 playedH5059 with his handH3027.
And SaulH7586 soughtH1245 to smite DavidH1732 and the wallH7023 with the spearH2595; but he slipped away out of Saul's presenceH6440, and he smote the spearH2595 into the wallH7023. And DavidH1732 fledH5127, and escapedH4422 that nightH3915.
And SaulH7586 sentH7971 messengersH4397 to David's houseH1004, to watchH8104 him, and to slay him in the morningH1242; and MichalH4324 David's wifeH802 toldH5046 him, sayingH559, If thou saveH4422 not thy lifeH5315 to-night, to-morrow thou wilt be putH4191 to deathH4191.
And MichalH4324 let DavidH1732 downH3381 through a windowH2474; and he wentH3381, and fledH1272 and escapedH4422.
And MichalH4324 tookH3947 the image, and laid it in the bedH4296, and putH7760 the net of goats' [hair] at its headH4763, and coveredH3680 it with the coverlet.
And SaulH7586 sentH7971 messengersH4397 to takeH3947 DavidH1732, and she saidH559, He is sickH2470.
And SaulH7586 sentH7971 the messengersH4397 to seeH7200 DavidH1732, sayingH559, BringH5927 him up to me in the bedH4296, that I may putH4191 him to deathH4191.
And the messengersH4397 cameH935 in, and behold, the image was in the bedH4296, and the net of goats' [hair] at its headH4763.
Then SaulH7586 saidH559 to MichalH4324, WhyH4100 hast thou deceived me so, and sentH7971 awayH7971 mine enemyH341, that he is escapedH4422? And MichalH4324 saidH559 to SaulH7586, He saidH559 to me, Let me goH7971; whyH4100 should I slay thee?
