2ForγάρgarG1063weἐσμενesmenG1510alsoG2532received the good newsεὐηγγελισμένοιeuēngelismenoiG2097just asκαθάπερkathaperG2509theyG2548did;butἀλλ᾽all᾽G235theὁhoG3588messageλόγοςlogosG3056τῆςtēsG3588they heardἀκοῆςakoēsG189was of no valueοὐκ ὠφέλησενouk ōphelēsenG3756G5623to themG1565,since they did not shareμὴ συγκεκερασμένουςmē sugkekerasmenousG3361G4786theτῇtēaG3588faithπίστειpisteiG4102of those whoτοῖςtoisG3588comprehendedἀκούσασιν.akousasinG191it.
3NowγὰρgarG1063wewhoτὴνtēnG3588have believedπιστεύσαντεςpisteusantesG4100enterΕἰσερχόμεθα εἰςEiserchometha eisG1525G1519thatοἱhoiG3588restκατάπαυσινkatapausinG2663. As for the others,it is just asκαθὼςkathōsG2531Godhas saidεἴρηκεν·eirēkenG2046: “SoὡςhōsG5613I swore on oathὤμοσαōmosaG3660inἐνenG1722MyG1473τῇtēaG3588angerὀργῇorgēaG3709, ‘They shall never enterεἰ εἰσελεύσονται εἰςei eiseleusontai eisG1487G1525G1519MyG1473τὴνtēnG3588restκατάπαυσίνkatapausinG2663.’”And yetG2543HisτῶνtōnG3588worksἔργωνergōnG2041have been finishedγενηθέντων.genēthentōnG1096sinceἀπὸapoG575thefoundationκαταβολῆςkatabolēsG2602of the worldκόσμουkosmouG2889.
