Mark 10:7-25
7For this cause shall a manG444 leaveG2641 his fatherG3962 and motherG3384, and shall cleave to his wifeG1135; 8and the twoG1417 shall become oneG1520 fleshG4561: so that they areG1510 no more twoG1417, but oneG1520 fleshG4561. 9What thereforeG3767 GodG2316 hath joined togetherG4801, let not manG444 put asunder. 10And in the houseG3614 the disciplesG3101 askedG1905 him againG3825 of this matter. 11And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put awayG630 his wifeG1135, and marryG1060 another, committeth adulteryG3429 against her: 12and if she herself shall put awayG630 her husbandG435, and marryG1060 another, she committeth adulteryG3429.
13And they were bringingG4374 unto him little childrenG3813, that he should touchG681 them: and the disciplesG3101 rebukedG2008 them. 14But when JesusG2424 sawG3708 it, he wasG1510 moved with indignation, and saidG3004 unto them, Suffer the little childrenG3813 to comeG2064 unto me; forbidG2967 them not: for to suchG5108 belongeth the kingdomG932 of GodG2316. 15Verily I sayG3004 unto you, Whosoever shall not receiveG1209 the kingdomG932 of GodG2316 as a little childG3813, he shall in no wise enterG1525 therein. 16And he took them in his arms, and blessedG2127 them, layingG5087 his handsG5495 upon them.
17And as he was goingG1607 forth into the wayG3598, there ranG4370 oneG1520 to him, and kneeled to him, and askedG1905 him, GoodG18 TeacherG1320, what shall I do that I may inheritG2816 eternalG166 lifeG2222? 18And JesusG2424 saidG3004 unto him, WhyG5101 callest thou me goodG18? noneG3762 is goodG18 save oneG1520, even GodG2316. 19Thou knowest the commandmentsG1785, Do not kill, Do not commitG3431 adulteryG3431, Do not stealG2813, Do not bearG5576 falseG5576 witnessG5576, Do not defraudG650, HonorG5091 thy fatherG3962 and motherG3384. 20And he saidG5346 unto him, TeacherG1320, all these thingsG3778 have I observed from my youthG3503. 21And JesusG2424 lookingG1689 upon him lovedG25 him, and saidG3004 unto him, OneG1520 thingG1520 thou lackest: goG5217, sellG4453 whatsoever thou hast, and giveG1325 to the poorG4434, and thou shalt have treasureG2344 in heavenG3772: and comeG1204, followG190 me. 22But his countenance fell at the sayingG3056, and he wentG565 awayG565 sorrowfulG3076: for he wasG1510 oneG3588 that had greatG4183 possessions.
23And JesusG2424 lookedG4017 round about, and saith unto his disciplesG3101, HowG4459 hardly shall they that have riches enterG1525 into the kingdomG932 of GodG2316! 24And the disciplesG3101 wereG1510 amazed at his wordsG3056. But JesusG2424 answereth againG3825, and saith unto them, ChildrenG5043, howG4459 hard isG1510 it for them that trust in riches to enterG1525 into the kingdomG932 of GodG2316! 25It isG1510 easier for a camelG2574 to goG1525 through a needle’s eye, than for a richG4145 manG4145 to enterG1525 into the kingdomG932 of GodG2316.
