American Standard Version
1In the fiveH2568 and twentieth yearH8141 of our captivity, in the beginning of the yearH8141, in the tenth dayH3117 of the monthH2320, in the fourteenth yearH8141 after that the cityH5892 wasH1961 smitten, in the selfsame dayH3117, the handH3027 of Jehovah wasH1961 upon me, and he broughtH935 me thither. 2In the visionsH4759 of GodH430 broughtH935 he me into the landH776 of IsraelH3478, and set me downH5117 upon a veryH3966 highH1364 mountainH2022, whereon was as it were the frame of a cityH5892 on the southH5045. 3And he broughtH935 me thither; and, behold, there was a manH376, whose appearanceH4758 was like the appearanceH4758 of brass, with a line of flaxH6593 in his handH3027, and a measuring reedH7070; and he stoodH5975 in the gateH8179. 4And the manH376 saidH1696 unto me, SonH1121 of manH376, behold with thine eyesH5869, and hearH8085 with thine earsH241, and setH7760 thy heartH3820 upon all that I shall showH7200 thee; for, to the intent that I may showH7200 them unto thee, art thou broughtH935 hither: declareH5046 all that thou seest to the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478.
5And, behold, a wallH2346 on the outsideH2351 of the houseH1004 roundH5439 about, and in the man’sH376 handH3027 a measuring reedH7070 sixH8337 cubitsH520 long, of a cubitH520 and a handbreadth each: so he measuredH4058 the thickness of the building, oneH259 reedH7070; and the heightH6967, oneH259 reedH7070. 6Then cameH935 he unto the gateH8179 which looketh toward the eastH6921, and wentH935 up the stepsH4609 thereof: and he measuredH4058 the threshold of the gateH8179, oneH259 reedH7070 broad; and the other threshold, oneH259 reedH7070 broad. 7And every lodge was oneH259 reedH7070 long, and oneH259 reedH7070 broad; and the space between the lodges was fiveH2568 cubitsH520; and the threshold of the gateH8179 by the porchH197 of the gateH8179 toward the houseH1004 was oneH259 reedH7070. 8He measuredH4058 also the porchH197 of the gateH8179 toward the houseH1004, oneH259 reedH7070. 9Then measuredH4058 he the porchH197 of the gateH8179, eightH8083 cubitsH520; and the posts thereof, twoH8147 cubitsH520; and the porchH197 of the gateH8179 was toward the houseH1004. 10And the lodges of the gateH8179 eastward were threeH7969 on this side, and threeH7969 on that side; they threeH7969 were of oneH259 measure: and the posts had oneH259 measure on this side and on that side. 11And he measuredH4058 the breadthH7341 of the openingH6607 of the gateH8179, tenH6235 cubitsH520; and the lengthH753 of the gateH8179, thirteen cubitsH520; 12and a borderH1366 before the lodges, oneH259 cubitH520 on this side, and a borderH1366, oneH259 cubitH520 on that side; and the lodges, sixH8337 cubitsH520 on this side, and sixH8337 cubitsH520 on that side. 13And he measuredH4058 the gateH8179 from the roofH1406 of the one lodge to the roofH1406 of the other, a breadthH7341 of fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520; doorH6607 against doorH6607. 14He madeH6213 also posts, threescore cubitsH520; and the courtH2691 reached unto the posts, roundH5439 about the gateH8179. 15And from the forefront of the gateH8179 at the entrance unto the forefront of the innerH6442 porchH197 of the gateH8179 were fiftyH2572 cubitsH520. 16And there were closed windowsH2474 to the lodges, and to their posts within the gateH8179 roundH5439 about, and likewise to the arches; and windowsH2474 were roundH5439 about inward; and upon each post were palm-trees.
17Then broughtH935 he me into the outerH2435 courtH2691; and, lo, there were chambers and a pavementH7531, madeH6213 for the courtH2691 roundH5439 about: thirtyH7970 chambers were upon the pavementH7531. 18And the pavementH7531 was by the sideH3802 of the gatesH8179, answerable unto the lengthH753 of the gatesH8179, even the lower pavementH7531. 19Then he measuredH4058 the breadthH7341 from the forefront of the lower gateH8179 unto the forefront of the innerH6442 courtH2691 without, a hundredH3967 cubitsH520, both on the eastH6921 and on the northH6828.
20And the gateH8179 of the outerH2435 courtH2691 whose prospect is toward the northH6828, he measuredH4058 the lengthH753 thereof and the breadthH7341 thereof. 21And the lodges thereof wereH1961 threeH7969 on this side and threeH7969 on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof wereH1961 after the measure of the firstH7223 gateH8179: the lengthH753 thereof wasH1961 fiftyH2572 cubitsH520, and the breadthH7341 fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520. 22And the windowsH2474 thereof, and the arches thereof, and the palm-trees thereof, were after the measure of the gateH8179 whose prospect is toward the eastH6921; and they wentH5927 up unto it by sevenH7651 stepsH4609; and the arches thereof were before them. 23And there was a gateH8179 to the innerH6442 courtH2691 over against the other gateH8179, both on the northH6828 and on the eastH6921; and he measuredH4058 from gateH8179 to gateH8179 a hundredH3967 cubitsH520.
24And he led me toward the southH1864; and, behold, a gateH8179 toward the southH1864: and he measuredH4058 the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures. 25And there were windowsH2474 in it and in the arches thereof roundH5439 about, like those windowsH2474: the lengthH753 was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520, and the breadthH7341 fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520. 26And there were sevenH7651 stepsH4609 to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them; and it had palm-trees, oneH259 on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof. 27And there was a gateH8179 to the innerH6442 courtH2691 toward the southH1864: and he measuredH4058 from gateH8179 to gateH8179 toward the southH1864 a hundredH3967 cubitsH520.
28Then he broughtH935 me to the innerH6442 courtH2691 by the southH1864 gateH8179: and he measuredH4058 the southH1864 gateH8179 according to these measures; 29and the lodges thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windowsH2474 in it and in the arches thereof roundH5439 about; it was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520 long, and fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520 broad. 30And there were arches roundH5439 about, fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520 long, and fiveH2568 cubitsH520 broad. 31And the arches thereof were toward the outerH2435 courtH2691; and palm-trees were upon the posts thereof: and the ascentH4608 to it had eightH8083 stepsH4609.
32And he broughtH935 me into the innerH6442 courtH2691 toward the eastH6921: and he measuredH4058 the gateH8179 according to these measures; 33and the lodges thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windowsH2474 therein and in the arches thereof roundH5439 about; it was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520 long, and fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520 broad. 34And the arches thereof were toward the outerH2435 courtH2691; and palm-trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the ascentH4608 to it had eightH8083 stepsH4609.
35And he broughtH935 me to the northH6828 gateH8179: and he measuredH4058itaccording to these measures; 36the lodges thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof: and there were windowsH2474 therein roundH5439 about; the lengthH753 was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520, and the breadthH7341 fiveH2568 and twentyH6242 cubitsH520. 37And the posts thereof were toward the outerH2435 courtH2691; and palm-trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the ascentH4608 to it had eightH8083 stepsH4609.
