Ezekiel 25
American Standard Version
1And the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559, 2SonH1121 of manH120, setH7760 thy faceH6440 toward the children of AmmonH5983, and prophesyH5012 against them: 3and sayH559 unto the children of AmmonH5983, HearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LordH136 Jehovah: ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah, Because thou saidst, AhaH1889, against my sanctuaryH4720, when it was profanedH2490; and against the landH127 of IsraelH3478, when it was madeH8074 desolateH8074; and against the houseH1004 of JudahH3063, when they wentH1980 into captivity: 4thereforeH3651, behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the eastH6924 for a possessionH4181, and they shall setH5414 their encampmentsH2918 in thee, and makeH5414 their dwellingsH4908 in thee; they shall eatH398 thy fruitH6529, and they shall drinkH8354 thy milkH2461. 5And I will makeH5414 RabbahH7237 a stable for camelsH1581, and the children of AmmonH5983 a couching-place for flocksH6629: and ye shall knowH3045 that I am Jehovah. 6For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Because thou hast clappedH4222 thy handsH3027, and stamped with the feetH7272, and rejoicedH8055 with all the despite of thy soulH5315 against the landH127 of IsraelH3478; 7thereforeH3651, behold, I have stretchedH5186 out my handH3027 upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nationsH1471; and I will cutH3772 thee off from the peoplesH5971, and I will cause thee to perishH6 out of the countries: I will destroyH8045 thee; and thou shalt knowH3045 that I am Jehovah.
8ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Because that MoabH4124 and SeirH8165 do sayH559, Behold, the houseH1004 of JudahH3063 is like unto all the nationsH1471; 9thereforeH3651, behold, I will openH6605 the sideH3802 of MoabH4124 from the citiesH5892, from his citiesH5892 which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimothH1020, Baal-meonH1186, and KiriathaimH7156, 10unto the children of the eastH6924, to go against the children of AmmonH5983; and I will giveH5414 them for a possessionH4181, that the children of AmmonH5983 may not be rememberedH2142 among the nationsH1471: 11and I will execute judgmentsH8201 upon MoabH4124; and they shall knowH3045 that I am Jehovah.
12ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Because that EdomH123 hath dealt against the houseH1004 of JudahH3063 by taking vengeanceH5359, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; 13thereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah, I will stretchH5186 out my handH3027 upon EdomH123, and will cutH3772 off manH120 and beast from it; and I will makeH5414 it desolate from TemanH8487; even unto DedanH1719 shall they fallH5307 by the swordH2719. 14And I will lay my vengeanceH5360 upon EdomH123 by the handH3027 of my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478; and they shall do in EdomH123 according to mine angerH639 and according to my wrathH2534; and they shall knowH3045 my vengeanceH5360, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
15ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Because the PhilistinesH6430 have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeanceH5360 with despite of soulH5315 to destroy with perpetual enmityH342; 16thereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah, Behold, I will stretchH5186 out my handH3027 upon the PhilistinesH6430, and I will cutH3772 off the Cherethites, and destroyH6 the remnantH7611 of the seaH3220 coast. 17And I will execute greatH1419 vengeanceH5360 upon them with wrathful rebukesH8433; and they shall knowH3045 that I am Jehovah, when I shall lay my vengeanceH5360 upon them.
