Ezekiel 47

American Standard Version

1And he broughtH3318 me backH7725 unto the doorH6607 of the houseH1004; and, behold, watersH4325 issued out from under the thresholdH4670 of the houseH1004 eastward (for the forefront of the houseH1004 was toward the eastH6921); and the watersH4325 cameH3318 downH3381 from under, from the rightH3233 sideH3802 of the houseH1004, on the southH5045 of the altarH4196. 2Then he broughtH3318 me out by the wayH1870 of the gateH8179 northward, and led me roundH5437 by the wayH1870 without unto the outer gateH8179, by the wayH1870 of the gateH8179 that looketh toward the eastH6921; and, behold, there ran out watersH4325 on the rightH3233 sideH3802.

3When the manH376 wentH3318 forthH3318 eastward with the line in his handH3027, he measuredH4058 a thousandH505 cubitsH520, and he caused me to passH5674 through the watersH4325, watersH4325 that were to the ankles. 4Again he measuredH4058 a thousandH505, and caused me to passH5674 through the watersH4325, watersH4325 that were to the knees. Again he measuredH4058 a thousandH505, and caused me to passH5674 through the watersH4325, watersH4325 that were to the loinsH4975. 5Afterward he measuredH4058 a thousandH505; and it was a riverH5158 that I could not passH5674 through; for the watersH4325 were risen, watersH4325 to swim in, a riverH5158 that could not be passedH5674 through.

6And he saidH559 unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, hast thou seenH7200 this? Then he broughtH7725 me, and caused me to returnH7725 to the bankH8193 of the riverH5158. 7Now when I had returnedH7725, behold, upon the bankH8193 of the riverH5158 were veryH3966 manyH7227 treesH6086 on the oneH2088 side and on the other. 8Then saidH559 he unto me, These watersH4325 issue forthH3318 toward the eastern region, and shall goH3318 down into the ArabahH6160; and they shall goH3318 toward the seaH3220; into the seaH3220 shall the watersH4325 goH3318 which were made to issue forthH3318; and the watersH4325 shall be healedH7495. 9And it shall comeH935 to pass, that every living creatureH5315 which swarmeth, in every place whither the rivers comeH935, shall liveH2421; and there shall beH1961 a veryH3966 great multitude of fishH1710; for these watersH4325 are comeH935 thither, and the watersH4325 of the sea shall beH1961 healedH7495, and everythingH3605 shall liveH2421 whithersoever the riverH5158 cometh. 10And it shall come to pass, that fishers shall standH5975 by it: from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim shall beH1961 a place for the spreading of netsH2764; their fishH1710 shall beH1961 after their kindsH4327, as the fishH1710 of the greatH1419 seaH3220, exceeding manyH7227. 11But the miry places thereof, and the marshes thereof, shall not be healedH7495; they shall be givenH5414 up to saltH4417. 12And by the riverH5158 upon the bankH8193 thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow every treeH6086 for foodH3978, whose leafH5929 shall not witherH5034, neither shall the fruitH6529 thereof fail: it shall bringH3318 forthH3318 newH2320 fruitH6529 every monthH2320, because the watersH4325 thereof issue out of the sanctuaryH4720; and the fruitH6529 thereof shall beH1961 for foodH3978, and the leafH5929 thereof for healing.

13ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: This shall be the borderH1366, whereby ye shall divideH5157 the landH776 for inheritanceH5157 according to the twelve tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478: JosephH3130 shall have twoH8147 portionsH2256. 14And ye shall inheritH5157 it, oneH376 as well as another; for I sware to giveH5414 it unto your fathersH1: and this landH776 shall fallH5307 unto you for inheritanceH5159.

15And this shall be the borderH1366 of the landH776: On the northH6828 sideH6285, from the greatH1419 seaH3220, by the wayH1870 of HethlonH2855, unto the entrance of ZedadH6657; 16HamathH2574, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the borderH1366 of DamascusH1834 and the borderH1366 of HamathH2574; Hazer-hatticon, which is by the borderH1366 of HauranH2362. 17And the borderH1366 from the seaH3220, shall beH1961 Hazar-enon at the borderH1366 of DamascusH1834; and on the northH6828 northward isH1961 the borderH1366 of HamathH2574. This isH1961 the northH6828 sideH6285. 18And the eastH6921 sideH6285, between HauranH2362 and DamascusH1834 and GileadH1568, and the landH776 of IsraelH3478, shall be the JordanH3383; from the north borderH1366, unto the eastH6921 seaH3220 shall ye measureH4058. This is the eastH6921 sideH6285. 19And the southH5045 sideH6285 southward shall be from TamarH8559 as far as the watersH4325 of Meriboth-kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, unto the greatH1419 seaH3220. This is the southH5045 sideH6285 southward. 20And the westH3220 sideH6285 shall be the greatH1419 seaH3220, from the south borderH1366 as far as over against the entrance of HamathH2574. This is the westH3220 sideH6285.

21So shall ye divideH2505 this landH776 unto you according to the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478. 22And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritanceH5159 unto you and to the strangers that sojourn among you, who shall beget children among you; and they shall beH1961 unto you as the home-born among the children of IsraelH3478; they shall have inheritanceH5159 with you among the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478. 23And it shall come to pass, that in what tribeH7626 the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye giveH5414 him his inheritanceH5159, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
