Deuteronomy 5:22-26
22These wordsH1697 Jehovah spake unto all your assemblyH6951 in the mount out of the midstH8432 of the fireH784, of the cloudH6051, and of the thickH6205 darknessH6205, with a greatH1419 voiceH6963: and he addedH3254 no more. And he wroteH3789 them upon twoH8147 tables of stoneH68, and gaveH5414 them unto me. 23And it came to pass, when ye heardH8085 the voiceH6963 out of the midstH8432 of the darknessH2822, while the mountainH2022 wasH1961 burning with fireH784, that ye came near unto me, even all the headsH7218 of your tribesH7626, and your eldersH2205; 24and ye saidH559, Behold, Jehovah our GodH430 hath showedH7200 us his gloryH3519 and his greatnessH1433, and we have heardH8085 his voiceH6963 out of the midstH8432 of the fireH784: we have seenH7200 this dayH3117 that GodH430 doth speakH1696 with manH120, and he liveth. 25NowH6258 thereforeH6258 whyH4100 should we dieH4191? for this greatH1419 fireH784 will consumeH398 us: if we hearH8085 the voiceH6963 of Jehovah our GodH430 any more, then we shall dieH4191. 26For who is there of all fleshH1320, that hath heardH8085 the voiceH6963 of the living GodH430 speakingH1696 out of the midstH8432 of the fireH784, as we have, and livedH2421?
