Galatians 3:1-14

1 1You foolishG453 2GalatiansG1052, whoG5101 has bewitchedG940 you, beforeG2596 whoseG3739 eyesG3788 JesusG2424 ChristG5547 3was publiclyG4270 portrayedG4270 as crucifiedG4717? 2ThisG3778 is the onlyG3441 thingG3441 I wantG2309 to findG3129 outG3129 from you: did you receiveG2983 the SpiritG4151 by worksG2041 of 4the LawG3551, orG2228 by 5hearingG189 6with faithG4102? 3Are you soG3779 foolishG453? Having begunG1728 7by the SpiritG4151, are you nowG3568 8being perfectedG2005 by the fleshG4561? 4Did you 9sufferG3958 soG5118 manyG5118 thingsG5118 in vainG1500--10ifG1487 indeedG1065 G2532 it was in vainG1500? 5SoG3767 thenG3767, does He who 11providesG2023 you with the SpiritG4151 and 12worksG1754 13miraclesG1411 amongG1722 you, do it by worksG2041 of 14the LawG3551, orG2228 by 15hearingG189 16with faithG4102?

6JustG2531 asG2531 17AbrahamG11 18believedG4100 GodG2316, and it was creditedG3049 to him as righteousnessG1343. 7ThereforeG686, recognizeG1097 that 19it is thoseG3588 who are of faithG4102 whoG3778 are 20sonsG5207 of AbrahamG11. 8The ScriptureG1124, foreseeingG4275 that GodG2316 21would justifyG1344 the 22GentilesG1484 by faithG4102, preachedG4283 the gospelG4283 beforehandG4283 to AbrahamG11, saying, “23AllG3956 the nationsG1484 will be blessedG1757 in you.” 9SoG5620 thenG5620, 24thoseG3588 who are of faithG4102 are blessedG2127 with 25AbrahamG11, the believerG4103.

10For allG3745 whoG3745 are of worksG2041 of 26the LawG3551 are underG5259 a curseG2671; for it is writtenG1125: “27CursedG1944 is everyoneG3956 whoG3739 does not abideG1696 byG1696 allG3956 the thingsG3956 writtenG1125 in the bookG975 of the LawG3551, to doG4160 them.” 11NowG1161, that 28noG3762 oneG3762 is justifiedG1344 29by 30the LawG3551 beforeG3844 GodG2316 is evidentG1212; for, “31 32the righteousG1342 one will liveG2198 by faithG4102.” 12 33HoweverG1161, the LawG3551 is not 34of faithG4102; on the contraryG235, “35The person who performsG4160 36them will liveG2198 by 37them.” 13ChristG5547 38redeemedG1805 us from the curseG2671 of the LawG3551, having becomeG1096 a curseG2671 for us--for it is writtenG1125: “39CursedG1944 is everyoneG3956 who hangsG2910 on 40a 41treeG3586”-- 14inG2443 orderG2443 thatG2443 42in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 the blessingG2129 of AbrahamG11 would comeG1096 to the GentilesG1484, soG2443 thatG2443 we 43would receiveG2983 44the promiseG1860 of the SpiritG4151 throughG1223 faithG4102.
