For it will not come unlessG1437G3361 the 23apostasyG646 comesG2064 firstG4413, and the 4manG444 of lawlessnessG458 is revealedG601, the 5sonG5207 of destructionG684, 4who opposesG480 and exaltsG5229 himself aboveG1909 67everyG3956 so-calledG3004 godG2316 orG2228 objectG4574 ofG4574 worshipG4574, soG5620 thatG5620 he takesG2523 his seatG2523 in the templeG3485 of GodG2316, 8displayingG584 himselfG1438 as beingG1510 GodG2316. 5Do you not rememberG3421 that 9while I was stillG2089 with you, I was tellingG3004 you theseG3778 thingsG3778? 6And you knowG3609 10what restrainsG2722 him nowG3568, soG1519 thatG1519 he will be revealedG601 in his timeG2540. 7For 11the mysteryG3466 of lawlessnessG458 is alreadyG2235 at workG1754; onlyG3440 1213He who nowG737 restrainsG2722 will do so untilG2193 14He is 15removedG1537G3319. 8ThenG5119 that lawlessG459 oneG459 16will be revealedG601, whomG3739 the LordG2962 will eliminateG337 17with the breathG4151 of His mouthG4750 and bringG2673 toG2673 anG2673 endG2673 by the 18appearanceG2015 of His 19comingG3952; 9that is, the one whoseG3739 20comingG3952 is inG2596 accordG2596 withG2596 the activityG1753 of 21SatanG4567, with allG3956 powerG1411 and falseG5579 2223signsG4592 and wondersG5059, 10and with 24allG3956 the deceptionG539 of wickednessG93 for 25thoseG3588 who perishG622, becauseG473G3739 they did not acceptG1209 the loveG26 of 26the truthG225 soG1519 as to be savedG4982. 11For thisG3778 reasonG1223 27GodG2316 28will sendG3992 upon them 29a 30deludingG4106 influenceG1753 soG1519 thatG1519 they will believeG4100 31whatG5579 isG5579 falseG5579, 12inG2443 orderG2443 thatG2443 they allG3956 may be 32judgedG2919 who 33did not believeG4100 the truthG225, but 3435tookG2106 pleasureG2106 in wickednessG93.

1336But we shouldG3784 alwaysG3842 giveG2168 thanksG2168 to GodG2316 for you, 37brothersG80 and sisters belovedG25 by the LordG2962, becauseG3754 38GodG2316 has chosenG138 you 39from the beginningG746 40for salvationG4991 4142throughG1722 sanctificationG38 43by the SpiritG4151 and faithG4102 in the truthG225. 14It was for thisG3739 He 44calledG2564 you throughG1223 45our gospelG2098, 46that you may obtainG4047 the gloryG1391 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547. 15SoG686 thenG3767, brothersG80 and sisters, 47standG4739 firmG4739 and 48holdG2902 onG2902 to the traditionsG3862 whichG3739 you were taughtG1321, whetherG1535 49by wordG3056 of mouth orG1535 50by letterG1992 51from us.
