I knowG3609the oneswhomτίναςtinasG5101I havechosenἐξελεξάμην·exelexamēnG1586; but this is happeningsoG2443thatG2443the ScriptureγραφὴgraphēG1124may be fulfilledπληρωθῇ·plērōthēaG4137, ‘He who eatsτρώγωνtrōgōnG5176My breadἄρτονartonG740has liftedἐπῆρενepērenG1869up his heelπτέρνανpternanG4418againstἐπ᾽ep᾽G1909Me.’

19From nowἄρτιartiG737onI am tellingλέγωlegōG3004you beforeπρὸproG4253ithappensγενέσθαι,genesthaiG1096,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443whenὅτανhotanG3752it does happenγένηταιgenētaiG1096,you may believeπιστεύσητεpisteusēteG4100thatI amεἰμι.eimiG1510He.

20TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281,trulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayλέγωlegōG3004to you, the one whoreceivesλαμβάνωνlambanōnG2983anyoneἄν τιναan tinaG302 G5100I sendπέμψω,pempsōG3992,receivesλαμβάνει·lambaneiG2983Me; and the one whoreceivesλαμβάνων,lambanōnG2983MereceivesλαμβάνειlambaneiG2983Him who sentπέμψαντάpempsantaG3992Me.”

21When JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424had saidλέγωlegōG3004theseG3778thingsΤαῦταTautaG3778, Hebecame troubledἐταράχθηetarachthēG5015in spiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151, andtestifiedἐμαρτύρησενemarturēsenG3140and saidG3004,“TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281,trulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayG3004to you thatoneεἷςheisG1520of you willbetrayπαραδώσειparadōseiG3860Me.”

22The disciplesμαθηταί,mathētaiG3101beganlookingἔβλεπονebleponG991at oneἀλλήλουςallēlousG240anotherG240,atG639aG639lossG639to knowof whichG5101oneG5101He was speakingλέγει.¶legeiG3004.

23LyingG345backG345onJesus’ἸησοῦIēsouG2424chestκόλπῳkolpōG2859was oneεἷςheisG1520of His disciplesμαθητῶνmathētōnG3101,whomὃνhonG3739JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424lovedἠγάπαēgapaG25.

24SoοὖνounG3767SimonΣίμωνSimōnG4613PeterΠέτροςPetrosG4074noddedνεύειneueiG3506to this discipleand saidG3004to him, “TellG3004uswhoτίςtisG5101it is of whomοὗhouG3739He is speakingλέγει.legeiG3004.”

25He then simplyοὕτωςhoutōsG3779leanedG377backG377on Jesus’ἸησοῦIēsouG2424chestστῆθοςstēthosG4738and saidλέγειlegeiG3004to Him, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,whoτίςtisG5101is it?”

26JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424thenοὖνounG3767answeredἀποκρίνεταιapokrinetaiG611,“ThatG1565manG1565is the one for whomᾧhōG3739I shall dipβάψωbapsōG911the pieceψωμίονpsōmionG5596of breadand giveδώσωdōsōG1325it to him.”SoG3767when He had dippedβάψαςbapsasG911the pieceψωμίονpsōmionG5596of bread,He tookλαμβάνειlambaneiG2983and gaveδίδωσινdidōsinG1325itto JudasἸούδᾳIoudaG2455, the sonof SimonΣίμωνοςSimōnosG4613IscariotἸσκαριώτου.IskariōtouG2469.
