Behold, for your iniquitiesבַּעֲוֹנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ba.'a.vo.no.tei.KhemH5771have ye soldנִמְכַּרְתֶּ֔םnim.kar.TemH4376yourselves, and for your transgressionsוּבְפִשְׁעֵיכֶ֖םu.ve.fish.'ei.KhemH6588is your motherאִמְּכֶֽם׃'i.me.KhemH517put awayשֻׁלְּחָ֥הshu.le.ChahH7971.

6I gaveנָתַ֣תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414my backגֵּוִי֙ge.ViH1460to the smitersלְמַכִּ֔יםle.ma.KimH5221,and my cheeksוּלְחָיַ֖יu.le.cha.YaiH3895to them that plucked offלְמֹֽרְטִ֑יםle.mo.re.TimH4803the hair: I hidהִסְתַּ֔רְתִּיhis.Tar.tiH5641not my faceפָּנַי֙pa.NaiH6440from shameמִכְּלִמּ֖וֹתmi.ke.li.MotH3639and spittingוָרֹֽק׃va.RokH7536.

7For the Lordוַאדֹנָ֤יva.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִה֙Yah.wehH3069will helpיַֽעֲזָר־ya.'a.zor-H5826me; therefore shall I not be confoundedנִכְלָ֑מְתִּיnikh.La.me.tiH3637:therefore have I setשַׂ֤מְתִּיSam.tiH7760my faceפָנַי֙fa.NaiH6440like a flintכַּֽחַלָּמִ֔ישׁka.cha.la.MishH2496,and I knowוָאֵדַ֖עva.'e.Da'H3045that I shall not be ashamedאֵבֽוֹשׁ׃'e.Vo.oshH954.

8He isnearקָרוֹב֙ka.rOvH7138that justifiethמַצְדִּיקִ֔יmatz.di.KiH6663me; who will contendיָרִ֥יבya.RivH7378with me? let us standנַ֣עַמְדָהNa.'am.dahH5975togetherיָּ֑חַדYa.chadH3162: who ismine adversaryבַ֥עַל מִשְׁפָּטִ֖יVa.'al mish.pa.TiH4941 H1167?let him come nearיִגַּ֥שׁyi.GashH5066to me.

9Behold, the Lordאֲדֹנָ֤י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִה֙Yah.wehH3069will helpיַֽעֲזָר־ya.'a.zor-H5826me; who is he thatshall condemnיַרְשִׁיעֵ֑נִיyar.shi.'E.niH7561me? lo, they all shall wax oldיִבְל֔וּyiv.LuH1086as a garmentכַּבֶּ֣גֶדka.Be.gedH899;the mothעָ֖שׁ'ashH6211shall eat them upיֹאכְלֵֽם׃yo.khe.LemH398.

11Behold, all ye that kindleקֹ֥דְחֵיKo.de.cheiH6919a fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784, that compass yourselvesaboutמְאַזְּרֵ֣יme.'a.ze.ReiH247with sparksזִיק֑וֹתzi.KotH2131:walkH3212in the lightבְּא֣וּרbe.'UrH217of your fireאֶשְׁכֶ֗ם'esh.KhemH784,and in the sparksוּבְזִיקוֹת֙u.ve.zi.kOtH2131thatye have kindledבִּֽעַרְתֶּ֔םbi.'ar.TemH1197.This shall ye have of mine handמִיָּדִי֙mi.ya.DiH3027;ye shall lie downתִּשְׁכָּבֽוּן׃ פtish.ka.VunH7901in sorrowלְמַעֲצֵבָ֖הle.ma.'a.tze.VahH4620.
