2He dugH5823it allH5823aroundH5823,clearedH5619it ofH5619stonesH5619,And plantedוַיִּטָּעֵ֙הוּ֙vai.yi.ta.'E.huH5193it with thechoicestשֹׂרֵ֔קso.RekH8321vineH8321.And He builtוַיִּ֤בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129a towerמִגְדָּל֙mig.DalH4026in the middleבְּתוֹכ֔וֹbe.to.KhoH8432of it,And alsoוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571carvedH2672outH2672awineH3342vatH3342in it; Then Heexpectedוַיְקַ֛וvay.KavH6960itto produceלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213goodgrapesעֲנָבִ֖ים'a.na.VimH6025,But it producedוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213onlyworthlessH891onesH891.

3“And nowוְעַתָּ֛הve.'a.TahH6258,you inhabitantsיוֹשֵׁ֥בyo.ShevH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389and peopleוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,Judgeשִׁפְטוּ־shif.tu-H8199betweenH996Me and My vineyardכַּרְמִֽי׃kar.MiH3754.

4Whatמַה־mah-H4100moreעוֹד֙'OdH5750was there to doלַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213for My vineyardלְכַרְמִ֔יle.khar.MiH3754that I have not doneעָשִׂ֖יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213in it?Whyמַדּ֧וּעַma.Du.a'H4069, whenI expectedקִוֵּ֛יתִיki.Vei.tiH6960itto produceלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213goodgrapesעֲנָבִ֖ים'a.na.VimH6025did it produceוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213worthlessH891onesH891?

5So nowוְעַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH6258let Me tellאוֹדִֽיעָה־'o.di.'ah-H3045you whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I am going to doעֹשֶׂ֖ה'o.SehH6213to My vineyardלְכַרְמִ֑יle.khar.MiH3754: I willremoveהָסֵ֤רha.SerH5493its hedgeH4905and it will be consumedלְבָעֵ֔רle.va.'ErH1197; I willbreakפָּרֹ֥ץpa.RotzH6555downH6555its wallגְּדֵר֖וֹge.de.RoH1447and it will becomeH1961trampledH4823groundH4823.

6I willlayוַאֲשִׁיתֵ֣הוּva.'a.shi.Te.huH7896it wasteבָתָ֗הva.TahH1326;It will not be prunedיִזָּמֵר֙yi.za.MerH2168nor hoedיֵעָדֵ֔רye.'a.DerH5737,But briarsשָׁמִ֖ירsha.MirH8068and thornsוָשָׁ֑יִתva.Sha.yitH7898will comeH5927upH5927.I will also commandאֲצַוֶּ֔ה'a.tza.VehH6680the cloudsהֶעָבִים֙he.'a.VimH5645not torainמֵהַמְטִ֥יר מָטָֽר׃me.ham.Tir ma.TarH4305 H4306on it.”

7For thevineyardכֶ֜רֶםKhe.remH3754of the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of armiesצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635is the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,And the peopleוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063are His delightfulשַׁעֲשׁוּעָ֑יוsha.'a.shu.'AvH8191plantנְטַ֖עne.Ta'H5194.So He waitedוַיְקַ֤וvay.KavH6960for justiceלְמִשְׁפָּט֙le.mish.PatH4941,but beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009, there wasbloodshedמִשְׂפָּ֔חmis.PachH4939;For righteousnessלִצְדָקָ֖הlitz.da.KahH6666,but beholdוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009,a cryH6818forH6818helpH6818.
