Genesis 32:14-22
14two hundredH3967 femaleH5795 goatsH5795 and twentyH6242 maleH8495 goatsH8495, two hundredH3967 ewesH7353 and twentyH6242 ramsH352, 15thirtyH7970 milkingH3243 camelsH1581 and their coltsH1121, fortyH705 cowsH6510 and tenH6235 bullsH6499, twentyH6242 femaleH860 donkeysH860 and tenH6235 maleH5895 donkeysH5895. 16He deliveredH5414 them into the handH3027 of his servantsH5650, everyH5739 droveH5739 by itselfH905, and saidH559 to his servantsH5650, “PassH5674 on beforeH6440 me, and putH7760 a spaceH7305 betweenH996 drovesH5739.” 17He commandedH6680 the 1oneH7223 in frontH7223, sayingH559, “WhenH3588 my brotherH251 EsauH6215 meetsH6298 you and asksH7592 you, sayingH559, ‘To whomH4310 do you belong, and whereH575 are you goingH1980, and to whomH4310 do theseH428 animals in frontH6440 of you belong?’ 18then you shall sayH559, ‘These belong to your servantH5650 JacobH3290; it is a presentH4503 sentH7971 to my lordH113 EsauH6215. And beholdH2009, he alsoH1571 is behindH310 us.’” 19Then he commandedH6680 alsoH1571 the secondH8145 and the thirdH7992, and allH3605 those who followedH1980H310 the drovesH5739, sayingH559, “After thisH2088 mannerH1697 you shall speakH1696 to EsauH6215 when you findH4672 him; 20and you shall sayH559, ‘BeholdH2009, your servantH5650 JacobH3290 alsoH1571 is behindH310 us.’” For he saidH559, “I will appeaseH3722H6440 him with the presentH4503 that goesH1980 beforeH6440 me. Then afterwardH310H3651 I will seeH7200 his faceH6440; perhapsH194 he will acceptH5375H6440 me.” 21So the presentH4503 passedH5674 on beforeH5921H6440 him, while he himselfH1931 spentH3885 that nightH3915 in the campH4264.
22Now he aroseH6965 that sameH1931 nightH3915 and tookH3947 his twoH8147 wivesH802 and his twoH8147 maidsH8198 and his elevenH259H6240 childrenH3206, and crossedH5674 the fordH4569 of the 2JabbokH2999.
