Genesis 3:6-23

61When the womanH802 sawH7200 that the treeH6086 was goodH2896 for foodH3978, and that it was a delightH8378 to the eyesH5869, and that the treeH6086 was desirableH2530 to make one wiseH7919, she tookH3947 from its fruitH6529 and ateH398; and she gaveH5414 alsoH1571 to her husbandH376 with her, and he ateH398. 7Then the eyesH5869 of bothH8147 of them were openedH6491, and they 2knewH3045 that they were nakedH5903; and they sewedH8609 figH8384 leavesH5929 togetherH8609 and madeH6213 themselvesH1992 3loinH2290 coveringsH2290.

8They heardH8085 the soundH6963 of 4the LordH3068 GodH430 walkingH1980 in the gardenH1588 in the 5coolH7307 of the dayH3117, 6and the manH120 and his wifeH802 hidH2244 themselves from the presenceH6440 of the LordH3068 GodH430 amongH8432 the treesH6086 of the gardenH1588. 9Then the LordH3068 GodH430 calledH7121 to the manH120, and saidH559 to him, “7WhereH335 are you?” 10He saidH559, “8I heardH8085 the soundH6963 of You in the gardenH1588, and I was afraidH3372 becauseH3588 I was nakedH5903; so I hidH2244 myself.” 11And He saidH559, “WhoH4310 toldH5046 you that you were nakedH5903? Have you eatenH398 from the treeH6086 of whichH834 I commandedH6680 you not to eatH398?” 129The manH120 saidH559, “The womanH802 whomH834 You gaveH5414 to be with me, she gaveH5414 me from the treeH6086, and I ateH398.” 13Then the LordH3068 GodH430 saidH559 to the womanH802, “WhatH4100 is thisH2088 you have doneH6213?” And the womanH802 saidH559, “10The serpentH5175 deceivedH5378 me, and I ateH398.” 14The LordH3068 GodH430 saidH559 to the serpentH5175, “11BecauseH3588 you have doneH6213 thisH2088, CursedH779 are you moreH4480 thanH4480 allH3605 cattleH929, And moreH4480 thanH4480 everyH3605 beastH2421 of the fieldH7704; On your bellyH1512 you will goH1980, And 12dustH6083 you will eatH398 AllH3605 the daysH3117 of your lifeH2425;15And I will putH7896 13enmityH342 BetweenH996 you and the womanH802, And betweenH996 your seedH2233 and her seedH2233; 14He shall 15bruiseH7779 you on the headH7218, And you shall bruiseH7779 him on the heelH6119.” 16To the womanH802 He saidH559, “I will greatlyH7235 multiplyH7235 Your painH6093 16in childbirthH2032, In painH6089 you will 17bringH3205 forthH3205 childrenH1121; Yet your desireH8669 will be for your husbandH376, And 18he will ruleH4910 over you.” 17Then to AdamH121 He saidH559, “BecauseH3588 you have listenedH8085 to the voiceH6963 of your wifeH802, and have eatenH398 from the treeH6086 about whichH834 I commandedH6680 you, sayingH559, ‘You shall not eatH398 from it’; 19CursedH779 is the groundH127 becauseH5668 of you; 20In 21toilH6093 you will eatH398 of it AllH3605 the daysH3117 of your lifeH2425.18Both thornsH6975 and thistlesH1863 it shall growH6779 for you; And you will eatH398 the 22plantsH6212 of the fieldH7704;19By the sweatH2188 of your faceH639 You will eatH398 breadH3899, TillH5704 you 23returnH7725 to the groundH127, BecauseH3588 24from it you were takenH3947; For you are dustH6083, And to dustH6083 you shall returnH7725.”

20Now the manH120 calledH7121 his wife’sH802 nameH8034 2526EveH2332, becauseH3588 she was the motherH517 of allH3605 the livingH2416. 21The LordH3068 GodH430 madeH6213 garmentsH3801 of skinH5785 for AdamH121 and his wifeH802, and clothedH3847 them.

22Then the LordH3068 GodH430 saidH559, “BeholdH2005, the manH120 has becomeH1961 like oneH259 of 27Us, knowingH3045 goodH2896 and evilH7451; and nowH6258, he mightH6435 stretchH7971 out his handH3027, and takeH3947 alsoH1571 from 28the treeH6086 of lifeH2425, and eatH398, and liveH2421 foreverH5769”-- 23therefore the LordH3068 GodH430 sentH7971 him out from the gardenH1588 of EdenH5731, to cultivateH5647 the groundH127 from whichH834 he was takenH3947.
