Genesis 13:6-18
6And 1the landH776 could not 2sustainH5375 them 3while dwellingH3427 togetherH3164, 4for their possessionsH7399 were so greatH7227 that they were not ableH3201 to remainH3427 togetherH3164. 75And there was strifeH7379 betweenH996 the herdsmenH7462 of Abram’sH87 livestockH4735 and the herdsmenH7462 of Lot’sH3876 livestockH4735. Now 6the CanaaniteH3669 and the PerizziteH6522 were dwellingH3427 thenH227 in the landH776.
87So AbramH87 saidH559 to LotH3876, “PleaseH4994 let there be noH408 strifeH4808 betweenH996 you and me, nor betweenH996 my herdsmenH7462 and your herdsmenH7462, for we are brothersH251. 9Is not the wholeH3605 landH776 beforeH6440 you? PleaseH4994 separateH6504 from me; ifH518 to the leftH8040, then I will goH3231 to the rightH3231; or ifH518 to the rightH3225, then I will goH8041 to the leftH8041.” 10LotH3876 liftedH5375 up his eyesH5869 and sawH7200 allH3605 the 89valleyH3603 of the JordanH3383, that it was wellH4945 wateredH4945 everywhereH3605--this was beforeH6440 the LordH3068 10destroyedH7843 SodomH5467 and GomorrahH6017--like 11the gardenH1588 of the LordH3068, 12like the landH776 of EgyptH4714 as you goH935 to 13ZoarH6820. 11So LotH3876 choseH977 for himself allH3605 the 14valleyH3603 of the JordanH3383, and LotH3876 journeyedH5265 eastwardH6924. Thus they separatedH6504 from eachH376 otherH251. 12AbramH87 15settledH3427 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667, while LotH3876 16settledH3427 in 17the citiesH5892 of the 18valleyH3603, and movedH167 his tentsH167 as farH5704 as SodomH5467. 13Now 19the menH376 of SodomH5467 were wickedH7451 20exceedinglyH3966 and 21sinnersH2400 against the LordH3068.
14The LordH3068 saidH559 to AbramH87, afterH310 LotH3876 had separatedH6504 from him, “22NowH4994 liftH5375 up your eyesH5869 and lookH7200 from the placeH4725 whereH834H8033 you are, 23northwardH6828 and southwardH5045 and eastwardH6924 and westwardH3220; 1524for allH3605 the landH776 whichH834 you seeH7200, 25I will giveH5414 it to you and to your 26descendantsH2233 foreverH5704H5769. 16I will makeH7760 your 27descendantsH2233 28as the dustH6083 of the earthH776, soH834 that ifH518 anyoneH376 canH3201 numberH4487 the dustH6083 of the earthH776, then your 29descendantsH2233 can alsoH1571 be numberedH4487. 17AriseH6965, 30walkH1980 about the landH776 through its lengthH753 and breadthH7341; for 31I will giveH5414 it to you.” 18Then AbramH87 movedH167 his tentH167 and cameH935 and dweltH3427 by the 3233oaksH436 of MamreH4471, whichH834 are in HebronH2275, and thereH8033 he builtH1129 34an altarH4196 to the LordH3068.
