18While He was sayingλαλοῦντοςlalountosG2980theseG3778thingsΤαῦταTautaG3778to them, a synagogueofficialἄρχωνarchōnG758cameG4334andbowedG4352downπροσεκύνειprosekuneiG4352beforeG4352Him, and saidλέγωνlegōnG3004, “My daughterθυγάτηρthugatērG2364has justἄρτιartiG737diedἐτελεύτησεν·eteleutēsenG5053;but comeG2064and layἐπίθεςepithesG2007Your handχεῖράcheiraG5495on her, and she will liveζήσεται.zēsetaiG2198.”

19JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424gotἐγερθεὶςegertheisG1453up and beganto followἠκολούθησενēkolouthēsenG190him, and so didHis disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101.

20And a womanγυνὴgunēG1135who had been sufferingG131from a hemorrhageG131for twelveδώδεκαdōdekaG1427yearsἔτηetēG2094,cameπροσελθοῦσαproselthousaG4334up behindὄπισθενopisthenG3693Him and touchedἥψατοhēpsatoG681thefringeκρασπέδουkraspedouG2899of HiscloakἱματίουhimatiouG2440;

23When JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424cameἐλθὼνelthōnG2064into theofficial’sἄρχοντοςarchontosG758houseοἰκίανoikianG3614,and sawG3708the flute-playersαὐλητὰςaulētasG834and the crowdὄχλονochlonG3793in noisyG2350disorderG2350,

24He saidἔλεγενelegenG3004,“Leaveἀναχωρεῖτε,anachōreiteG402;for the girlκοράσιονkorasionG2877has not diedἀπέθανενapethanenG599,but is asleepκαθεύδει.katheudeiG2518.” And they beganlaughingκατεγέλωνkategelōnG2606at Him.

25ButwhenὅτεhoteG3753the crowdὄχλος,ochlosG3793had been sentἐξεβλήθηexeblēthēG1544out, He enteredεἰσελθὼνeiselthōnG1525andtookἐκράτησενekratēsenG2902her by the handχειρὸςcheirosG5495,and the girlκοράσιον.korasionG2877gotἠγέρθηēgerthēG1453up.

26ThisαὕτηhautēG3778newsφήμηphēmēG5345spreadἐξῆλθενexēlthenG1831throughoutεἰςeisG1519allὅληνholēnG3650that landγῆνgēnG1093.

27As JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424wentπαράγοντιparagontiG3855on from thereἐκεῖθενekeithenG1564,twoδύοduoG1417blindτυφλοὶtuphloiG5185menG5185followedἠκολούθησανēkolouthēsanG190Him, cryingκράζοντεςkrazontesG2896out, “HaveG1653mercyἐλέησονeleēsonG1653on us,SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of DavidG1160!”

28WhenδὲdeG1161He enteredἐλθόντιelthontiG2064the houseοἰκίανoikianG3614,the blindτυφλοί,tuphloiG5185menG5185cameπροσῆλθονprosēlthonG4334up to Him, and JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them,“Do you believeπιστεύετεpisteueteG4100that I amG1410ableδύναμαιdunamaiG1410to doποιῆσαι;poiēsaiG4160thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778?”They saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004to Him, “YesναὶnaiG3483,Lordκύριε.kurieG2962.”

29ThenτότεtoteG5119He touchedἥψατοhēpsatoG681their eyesὀφθαλμῶνophthalmōnG3788,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004, “It shall be doneγενηθήτωgenēthētōG1096to youaccordingκατὰkataG2596to your faithπίστινpistinG4102.”

30And their eyesὀφθαλμοί.ophthalmoiG3788were openedἠνεῴχθησανēneōchthēsanG455.And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424sternlyG1690warnedG1690them:“SeeὁρᾶτεhorateG3708that noG3367oneμηδεὶςmēdeisG3367knowsγινωσκέτω.ginōsketōG1097about this!”

31But they wentἐξελθόντεςexelthontesG1831out andspreadG1310the newsG1310about Him throughoutἐνenG1722allὅλῃholēG3650that landγῇgēaG1093.

32As they were goingἐξερχομένωνexerchomenōnG1831out,a muteκωφὸνkōphonG2974,demon-possessedδαιμονιζόμενον.daimonizomenonG1139manἄνθρωπονanthrōponG444was broughtπροσήνεγκανprosēnegkanG4374to Him.

34But the PhariseesΦαρισαῖοιPharisaioiG5330were sayingἔλεγον·elegonG3004, “HecastsἐκβάλλειekballeiG1544out the demonsδαιμονίωνdaimoniōnG1140by the rulerἄρχοντιarchontiG758of the demonsδαιμόνια.¶daimoniaG1140.”

35JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424was goingG4013throughG4013allG3956the citiesπόλειςpoleisG4172and villagesκώμαςkōmasG2968,teachingδιδάσκωνdidaskōnG1321in their synagoguesσυναγωγαῖςsunagōgaisG4864and proclaimingκηρύσσωνkērussōnG2784the gospelεὐαγγέλιονeuangelionG2098of the kingdomβασιλείαςbasileiasG932,and healingθεραπεύωνtherapeuōnG2323everyG3956kindG3956of diseaseνόσονnosonG3554and everyG3956kindG3956of sicknessμαλακίανmalakianG3119.
