39and the enemyἐχθρὸςechthrosG2190who sowedσπείραςspeirasG4687them is the devilδιάβολος·diabolosG1228,and the harvestθερισμὸςtherismosG2326is theendσυντέλειαsunteleiaG4930of the ageαἰῶνόςaiōnosG165;and the reapersθερισταὶtheristaiG2327are angelsἄγγελοίangeloiG32.

40SoG3779justὥσπερhōsperG5618as the taresζιζάνιαzizaniaG2215are gatheredσυλλέγεταιsullegetaiG4816up and burnedκατακαίεται,katakaietaiG2618with fireπυρὶpuriG4442,soG3779shall it be at theendσυντελείᾳsunteleiaG4930of the ageαἰῶνοςaiōnosG165.

41The SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444will sendἀποστελεῖaposteleiG649forthG649His angelsἀγγέλουςangelousG32,and they will gatherσυλλέξουσινsullexousinG4816out of His kingdomβασιλείαςbasileiasG932allπάνταpantaG3956stumblingG4625blocksG4625,and thoseG3588who commitποιοῦνταςpoiountasG4160lawlessnessἀνομίανanomianG458,

42andwill throwβαλοῦσινbalousinG906them into the furnaceκάμινονkaminonG2575of fireπυρός·purosG4442;in that placeἐκεῖekeiG1563there will be weepingκλαυθμὸςklauthmosG2805and gnashingβρυγμὸςbrugmosG1030of teethὀδόντων.odontōnG3599.

43ThenτότεtoteG5119the righteousδίκαιοιdikaioiG1342will shineG1584forthG1584as the sunἥλιοςhēliosG2246in the kingdomβασιλείᾳbasileiaG932of their FatherπατρὸςpatrosG3962.He who hasἔχωνechōnG2192earsὦταōtaG3775,let him hearἀκουέτω.¶akouetōG191.

46and upon findingεὑρὼνheurōnG2147oneἕναhenaG1520pearlμαργαρίτην,margaritēnG3135of greatG4186valueG4186,he wentἀπελθὼνapelthōnG565and soldπέπρακενpeprakenG4097allπάνταpantaG3956that he hadεἶχενeichenG2192and boughtἠγόρασενēgorasenG59it.

48and whenὅτεhoteG3753it was filledἐπληρώθηeplērōthēG4137,they drewἀναβιβάσαντεςanabibasantesG307it up on the beachαἰγιαλόν,aigialonG123;and they satG2523downκαθίσαντεςkathisantesG2523and gatheredσυνέλεξανsunelexanG4816the goodκαλὰkalaG2570fishinto containersG32,but the badσαπρὰsapraG4550they threwἔβαλον.ebalonG906awayἔξωexōG1854.

49SoοὕτωςhoutōsG3779it will be at theendσυντελείᾳsunteleiaG4930of the ageαἰῶνος·aiōnosG165;the angelsἄγγελοιangeloiG32will comeG1831forthG1831andtakeἀφοριοῦσινaphoriousinG873out the wickedπονηροὺςponērousG4190from amongμέσουmesouG3319the righteousδικαίωνdikaiōnG1342,

51“Have you understoodσυνήκατεsunēkateG4920allπάντα;pantaG3956theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778?”They saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004to Him, “YesναίnaiG3483.”

54He cameἐλθὼνelthōnG2064toHis hometownπατρίδαpatridaG3968and beganteachingἐδίδασκενedidaskenG1321them in their synagogueσυναγωγῇsunagōgēaG4864,soὥστεhōsteG5620thatthey were astonishedἐκπλήσσεσθαιekplēssesthaiG1605,and saidλέγειν·legeinG3004, “WhereπόθενpothenG4159didthisG3778manG3778getthisG3778wisdomσοφίαsophiaG4678and thesemiraculousδυνάμεις;dunameisG1411powersG1411?

56AndHis sistersἀδελφαὶadelphaiG79,are they not allπᾶσαιpasaiG3956with us? WhereπόθενpothenG4159thenοὖνounG3767didthisG3778manτούτῳtoutōG3778getallπάντα;pantaG3956theseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778?”

57And they tookG4624offenseG4624at Him. But JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424saidG3004to them, “A prophetπροφήτηςprophētēsG4396is not withoutG820honorἄτιμοςatimosG820exceptG1508in hishometownπατρίδιpatridiG3968and in his ownhouseholdοἰκίᾳoikiaG3614.”

58And He did not doἐποίησενepoiēsenG4160manyπολλὰςpollasG4183miraclesδυνάμειςdunameisG1411thereἐκεῖekeiG1563becauseδιὰdiaG1223of their unbeliefἀπιστίανapistianG570.
