Numbers 8:17-19

17For all the firstbornH1060 among the children of IsraelH3478 are mine, both of manH120 and beast; on the dayH3117 that I smote every firstbornH1060 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, I hallowed them to myself.

18And I have takenH3947 the LevitesH3881 instead of all the firstbornH1060 among the children of IsraelH3478.

19And I have givenH5414 the LevitesH3881 as a gift to AaronH175 and to his sonsH1121, from among the children of IsraelH3478, to perform the serviceH5656 of the children of IsraelH3478 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for the children of IsraelH3478; that there beH1961 no plagueH5063 among the children of IsraelH3478, when the children of IsraelH3478 drawH5066 near to the sanctuaryH6944.
