Numbers 18:2-7
And thy brethren alsoH1571, the tribeH4294 of LeviH3878, the tribeH4294 of thy fatherH1, bringH7126 near with thee, that they may unite with thee, and minister unto thee; but thou and thy sonsH1121 with thee [shall serveH8334] before the tentH168 of the testimonyH5715.
And they shall keepH8104 thy chargeH4931, and the chargeH4931 of the whole tentH168: onlyH389 they shall not come near to the vesselsH3627 of the sanctuaryH6944 and to the altarH4196, that they may not dieH4191, and you as wellH1571 as they.
And they shall unite with thee, and keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, for all the serviceH5656 of the tentH168; and no stranger shall come near to you.
And ye shall keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH6944, and the chargeH4931 of the altarH4196; that there come no wrathH7110 any more upon the children of IsraelH3478.
And I, behold, I have takenH3947 your brethren, the LevitesH3881, from among the children of IsraelH3478; to you are they givenH5414 as a giftH4979 for Jehovah to perform the serviceH5656 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150.
But thou and thy sonsH1121 with thee shall attend to your priesthoodH3550 for all that concerneth the altarH4196, and for that which is inside the veil; and ye shall perform the serviceH5656: I giveH5414 you your priesthoodH3550 as a serviceH5656 of giftH4979, and the stranger that cometh near shall be putH5414 to deathH4191.
